User was originally posting as "not willy wanka" and attempting to hide talk page warnings from other users by moving the user talk: page to a subpage user talk:NotWillyWanka/delete and edit-warring invalid speedy deletion tags onto that page. NotWillyWanka also was repeatedly edit-warring Cégep de Jonquière to remove mention of the name "Collège de Jonquière", which is used in all of the college's marketing materials going out-of-province. (This continues under NotWillyWonka.) NotWillyWanka was blocked under our user name policy because of "willy" and "wank" in the user name. A new account, NoGoodOnesLeft, appeared immediately after. If the user had stayed on this ID and abandoned the old account, fine, but they instead had the old account renamed by an administrator (who restored the talk page history, placed the 'archive' template on the user talk and moved the whole mess painstakingly to renamed user NotWillyWonka). The user is now using both accounts against me simultaneously; edit-warring "Ontario" into broadcast locations of NRJ (Canada) as NoGoodOnesLeft while using NoGoodOnesLeft to support the positions of NotWillyWanka on Talk:Area code 664 (to oppose my position that +1 664 Montserrat and +52 664 Tijuana, México are different topics which shouldn't be the same article). At the same time, NotWillyWonka is still active (as renamed) and is being used to replace user talk: links to User talk:NotWillyWonka/Archive 1 with personal attacks against me. Archiving warnings is valid if they're retained in the history, but using multiple accounts or moving the talk page to a subpage for speedy deletion is not (an administrator has locked Special:MovePage/User_talk:NotWillyWonka, but the user is still removing links to talk page archives). I don't particularly care if this user despises me, but the use of multiple accounts needs to stop, as does the attempts to hide a long history of warnings from other users. Creating a new account would have been valid if the old account with the user name violations were abandoned, but keeping (and using) them both is sockpuppetry. K7L (talk) 13:49, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

K7L, your SPI is malformed. A user cannot be a sockpuppet of themselves, and their old account cannot be a sockpuppet when they have not started using it again. There should be only one listed as a sockpuppet, and that is NoGoodOnesLeft, but you provide no evidence at all. I have removed the wrong ones. There were indeed some problems with this user, but they have been solved. They now have a new username which they are using. The only problem I can see is that they don't leave a link to the archive on their talk page. That should be fixed. - The problem is that they're still using special:contributions/NoGoodOnesLeft even after special:contributions/NotWillyWonka has been renamed, unblocked and is now in active use. Both are engaging in a slow edit-war in the same pattern in articles about relatively minor Québec topics, both are on Talk:Area code 664 as if they were different users. - Both are hitting a rather obscure telephone area code article (+1 664 Montserrat has several thousand residents at most) and both with basically the same position that Tijuana's area code 52-664 shouldn't be a separate article topic: [1] as NotWillyWanka, [2] as NoGoodOnesLeft. I also note that NoGoodOnesLeft was created while NotWillyWanka was blocked for username violations, but now both userid's are in parallel, simultaneous use. I tried asking on Talk:Area code 664 whether these two are the same user and was met only with dead silence from the user. K7L (talk) 15:46, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Clerk note: The sequence of events seem obvious to me. NotWillyWonka, clearly impatient with the name change process, created the puppet account while NWW was blocked. He continued to use the account even after he was unblocked, although not much, until this SPI was opened and then he stopped. I indeffed and tagged the puppet and blocked NWW for one day. I also blocked the IP for one week, which could be a case of NWW just not logging in, but if this happens again, NWW's block will be much longer, possibly indefinite.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:08, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
