Edited Philip May with this edit saying that they "updated outdated image to identical new version which meets Wiki image criterion". This 'updated' image File:Riyen Karia with Philip May at CCHQ (Westminster).png has similarly incorrect formatting as File:Riyen Karia and Philip May at CCHQ.PNG and image uploaded by Thepoliticsexpert. -- Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 23:01, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So this is one of many block evasions going on right now with this master. See re-adding this image which was (re) uploaded by Wharf Dilemma and also worth noting PeterDulwich is the uploader for the other RKL image, yet, again on commons, which as been repeatedly inserted into the article(s) by socks.

I know this can't be confirmed to the accounts but it's a clear block evasion. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 20:26, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I know that the IP has been blocked here. The confirmed sock Clarissa1925 with this edit makes reference to an article that the IP did with this edit at Commons here. They have been blocked there for a different reason, but this is some future behavior to keep an eye on. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 21:00, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

With this edit that they marked as minor they claimed that they were correcting a typo but added an image of Riyen Karia. This page has been edited by socks previously to add an image of Karia, but this account has been around for a while so I am not a hundred percent sure if it a sock. One other interesting thing to note is the first edit (which looks like possible vandalism) by this account on edit which is an article that I have edited. The account It is I, Hamlet the Dane has edited at the talkpage Talk:Conservative Campaign Headquarters which could be due to the mainpage being under ECP protection. They created a single image in a sandbox at User:It is I, Hamlet the Dane/sandbox, pretty sure that was move of previous socks. You can also look at who happened to follow them and see if their actions match previous socks. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 18:07, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I ran across this independently of the SPI, but I'd support a CU. His only edits are to restore material previously added into an article by multiple Thepoliticsexpert socks. Only reason I'm not blocking based on blatant obviousness is I'm unclear how common the "he's actually defacto deputy PM" argument is in the UK, so not sure how unlikely a newbie wandering into this is. Seems pretty likely they're a sock to me though. Also pretty good at quoting chapter and verse of WP-space pages. --Floquenbeam (talk) 15:48, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Magog the Ogre at Commons:Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/TheBlueNosedTory said that the Went account was " Inconclusive based on Checkuser evidence alone." Not sure if it related to any accounts that popped up later. --Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 17:12, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:Armitage 007, who was just blocked as a sockpuppet, was one of several users that I came across making similar NPOV edits to the Kim Il-sung page. Many of them were incorrectly tagged as minor or had misleading edit summaries. The users are User:Wikiedebs, User:PearPad, User:AxisBot, and User:176.24.13.89, as you can see from the article history. The last three were single-purpose accounts, Wikiedebs is a bit more borderline but still seems similar. I haven't heard of Thepoliticsexpert before so I'm not 100% if they are following the same edit patterns, but if Armitage 007 was a sockpuppet it seems likely that they all would be. Ivar the Boneful (talk) 17:40, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In fact I've just noticed that User:AxisBot is claiming to be an "alternative account" of Armitage 007. Ivar the Boneful (talk) 17:41, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a sockpuppet at all. I just have strong political beliefs. That's it. You can call it "propaganda" or anything like that all you want. This is why Wikipedia is going downhill. You include sources like Freedom House on the Kim Il-sung page and Black Book of Communism, which are undoubtedly not fair sources. At least cite the UN or something. I ain't the sockpuppet of anyone, not at all. Those other people you mention above, I've never heard of them before.Wikiedebs (talk) 18:56, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23, Chrissymad, and NeilN: What do you think of AlexisFordS and CarcussCartel? Both have edited Talk:Theresa May, which seems to be one TPEs favorite pages for some reason. Alexis with their first edit [7] knew how to use templates, they then added that they live in the UK [8], with this edit [9] they have shown interest in the numbering of political leaders like the recently blocked socks. CC also shows knowledge of templates with their first edit and again makes a creation of a userpage instantly. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:04, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Another concern I have is with the cross-wiki abuse of this account see Commons:Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/TheBlueNosedTory. Is there anything we can do other than having to report separately at all wikis? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:06, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Emir of Wikipedia I usually just report them directly to the big guns if a CU isn't around and ask for a login sweep. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 19:10, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Who are the big guns? Is their some cross-wiki checkuser? And also would this case qualify as a WP:LTA? This is probably my longest spi. --Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:14, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I will try and get help from a steward next time there is cross-wiki abuse. Do you think we should open a report at LTA here or do you think that it will not be helpful? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:36, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
