- I recently blocked Trusha.daware for undisclosed paid editing based on on-site behaviour and a touch of off-site info.
- YouTuber Prajakta Koli is affiliated with One Digital Entertainment, (press release here), a company that Draft:One Digital Entertainment describes as "India’s leading digital video and creator network that focuses on scouting and grooming talent on digital platforms." So, a talent agency and/or PR/marketing firm.
- Trusha.daware was a significant contributor to the Prajakta Koli article, fond of highlighting all the best of Koli's press-release-worthy achievements from pointless lists and award mills. It's like she was using Wikipedia as her own PR outlet:
- "She also won the award for the Most Powerful Influencer on Digital award at Digixx Awards"
- "she was featured on the cover of Exhibit Magazine"
- "she was announced as part of Exhibit Magazine's Top 100 Digital Influencer"
- "Prajakta has collaborated with the likes of" famousperson famousperson famousperson, "Prajakta has performed at YouTube FanFest", "she was also included in Outlook Business Magzine's list of Women of Worth", "traveled to New York as a delegate for Goalkeepers an initiative by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation"
- "Susan Wojcicki sat down with Prajakta for an interview which was the first creator led interview Susan Wojcicki did globally"
- "she won the India Web Media award for the Viral Queen of the year along with the MTV Youth Icon."
- "she won the Economic Times Game Changers of India award in the Field of Entertainment".
- Without highlighting every one of Daware's problematic edits, just before I hobbled her with my mop stick, another user, Latika2301 showed up and started doing the same crap. "Featured on the cover of Business World" (this edit has the totally incompetent addition of a wall of irrelevant information within a reference), "Featured on the cover of Business World" after the content had been removed by another editor. Latika has only made about five edits, though.
- The article edit history also has a ton of blocked users. I plan to slap the article with EC protection to keep it honest.
I don't think Trusha and Latika are the same person. I think it's more like meatpuppetry, given that Trusha seemed at least a bit competent, minus her inability to format stuff properly, along with her shoddy English. Hoping someone can take a look, please to see if there are any webs of UPE deceit. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:31, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

User seems like a clear meatpuppet in the form of undisclosed paid editing, i.e. another employee of One Digital Entertainment trying to manage their clients' Wikipedia articles.
- They made one or two edits in January and February 2020, both of which were to Draft:One Digital Entertainment, which Trusha.daware clearly works for.
- Edits at Prajakta Koli as well, who is a client of One Digital Entertainment.
- The company's Who We Are page also notes that rappers Badshah and Raftaar are also their clients, and big surprise, Roopika.n appears to be here to fluff up both people's articles. Raftaar, Badshah. I bet if we looked closer, we would find that some of the other articles this new user has edited are clients of ODE.
- There is also off-wiki evidence that Roopika.n absolutely works for One Digital Entertainment, making it fairly clear UPE, so I will indef on this basis.
Hoping that a CU can find technical links either to Trusha.dawre or to other meatpuppets. Also, I don't mind keeping the Prajakta Koli article at its current protection level for honeypot purposes. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:19, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]This case is being reviewed by RoySmith as part of the clerk training process. Please allow him to process the entire case (including admin actions against suspected socks) without interference, and pose any questions or concerns either on his talk page or on this page if more appropriate.
- @Callanecc: given the well-known problems in this area and the overwhelming behavioral evidence, CU looking for other socks seems reasonable, so I'd endorse. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:57, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- Additional thought: if these people are editing from a work network, perhaps rangeblocking that network would help curtail the problem. Although, this might not be plausible, since these people could be working from home due to COVID-19. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:57, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

I'm seeing more promotional editing in the style of this meat farm. Since I think there might be multiple people, I don't know for sure that we're talking about socking. But this account was created a few days after Roopika.n was given the heave-ho.
Much of the stuff is happening at Prajakta Koli a client of Draft:One Digital Entertainment. Looking at intersections of all recent socks, I see this new suspect heavily interested in Prajakta Koli, with other intersections at Ajey Nagar, Bhuvan Bam, Ashish Chanchlani and Mithila Palkar. Ajey Nagar (aka "CarryMinati") also appears to be a One Digital Entertainment client. I am far too lazy to check the others, but this press release, where a One Digital Entertainment goon chats with Prajakta Koli and Ashish Chanchlani suggest that they too are clients of the company. Short story, this seems like crews of people trying to manipulate the subjects' Wikipedia articles.
Abhaas singh's earliest edits like these were a blend of incompetent writing and promotion. For example, notice the addition of Prajakta was the first creator to interview YouTube's CEO Susan Wojcicki.
This first-to-do-X-with-CEO-Wojcicki highlight is similar to this edit by Trusha.daware, which said In April 2019, Susan Wojcicki sat down with Prajakta for an interview which was the first creator led interview Susan Wojcicki did globally
.
Here Roopika.n adds a litany of awards, which are removed by esteemed editor, Bonadea. This award section is restored and expanded by the newbie. The new user in particular is not very wise with their decisions. They'd likely get indeffed for CIR concerns, like here where they delete maintenance templates, or here where they change the photo of a person to a logo of the person's channel in a biographical article. Anyway, I'm not sure that they're the same person, but I'm requesting CU to see if they are editing from the same general network, since this seems like UPE to me. [edit]- Clerk declined - @Cyphoidbomb: I'm pretty certain that these editors are not the same, unlike the previous socks which were a perfect match. At best, Abhaas is a meatpuppet and at worst, they have a COI in the same topic area, that's about it. I recommend pursuing normal administrative procedures instead. qedk (t 愛 c) 11:59, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- @QEDK: Well, I won't press it, but my concern is that there are multiple people editing from the same IP range, possibly a corporate range, and if so, someone should interrupt that. I wasn't even certain that the master and Roopika.n were the same, because there were some dissimilarities in their editing. But, I'll drop it. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:53, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- I tagged Draft:One Digital Entertainment for G11, but other than that, closing with no action taken. -- RoySmith (talk) 18:24, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
