Very similar edits and behavior in Yaldā. Started by sockmaster on Dec 17 [1], then same edits by sockpuppet [2] and again by sockmaster [3]. Possibility of good hand bad hand behavior. 188.158.101.80 (talk) 04:17, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Check declined by a checkuser The evidence to run a check is not very strong here. It's just a possible that it's two different individuals with similar interests. Mike VTalk 00:33, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Compare edits on Ghormeh sabzi [14], [15] with previous blocked socks: User:Iranpabarja [16], User:Kavanim [17]. Zyma (talk) 03:59, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It seems Ewr23434 is just another sockpuppet of Turkspasha. Targeted Ghormeh sabzi again. Compare his edit [18] with previous blocked socks. [19], [20]. Wario-Man (talk) 11:41, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • The technical data of past accounts is stale, but I've compared the results of Ewr23434 to the CU logs and I'm comfortable enough to say that there's a connection. I've blocked Ewr23434 as a proven sock. Mike VTalk 17:27, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Username is within the same range, target articles are the same,[21][22][23][24][25] not using edit summaries just like the sockmaster + previously CU blocked socks. - LouisAragon (talk) 21:56, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The similarities are striking and in my opinion show all the signs of WP:DUCK. For example:

  • "Azerbaijani Turks" Turkspasha [26], Farsi24rx [27] [28]
  • Adding/removing a [[Persian language|Persian]] tag: Turkspasha [29] [30], Farsi24rx [31]
  • Adding/removing Persian language translations: Turkspasha [32] [33], Farsi24rx [34], [35]

The edits all share the same characteristics of inserting language tags relating to Iran/Persia, or changing Iran to read as Persia or vice versa and basic edits around usage Iran/Persia/Azerbijan. In 99.9% of all cases almost no content is added. Also, as noted above, the edits share the characteristics of having no edit summaries and are all mobile edits. Both exhibit the same style of grammar and diction whenever they wrote anything into articles and finally, Turkspasha learned how to use {{cite book on 20th Jan 2016 and the supposedly new editor Farsi24rx uses complex editting techniques on their 4th edit and also uses the same citing style from the start of their editing. Also, I've no conflict of interest in this topic area and I'm commenting as a neutral third party. -- HighKing++ 15:59, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The username is similar to on of the previous blocked sockpuppets Farsiboy334 (talk · contribs). Plus, I used Editor Interaction Analyser and Farsi24rx's targets and behavior are similar to sockmaster and blocked socks. --Wario-Man (talk) 06:15, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why this SPI case is still open? --Wario-Man (talk) 04:58, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Another easy one.

  • Very same target articles
  • Never using edit summaries,[36] alike the sockmaster and the socks who are in the archives.[37]
  • Focus lays solely on Iran/Azerbaijan/Turkey, alike the sockmaster and the socks in the archives
  • Low edit count, but already a significant overlap with the sockmaster, which the Editor Interaction Analyser confirms.
  • Never using sources, alike the sockmaster + socks in the archives.

When the last sweep was conducted (20 January 2017, see archives), "Sharaqw1" hadn't edited for more than half a year, so he was stale. After the sweep was conducted, "Sharaqw1" magically came back to live, and started editing some ~ 18 days after, on 8 Feb 2017, with the very same editorial pattern as Turkspasha et al.;
  • Same obsession with Azeri/Azerbaijan/Iran/Turkey articles
  • Says that "Parsi" is the original endonym of "Persian",[38] similar to the sockmaster.[39]
  • Alike the socks in the archives, "Sharaqw1" is obsessed with changing well-sourced content (without edit summary), in favor of an Azeri POV.[40]
  • Alike the sockmaster and CU blocked socks, "Sharaqw1" doesn't use summaries
  • Though "Sharaqw1" has made relatively few edits, the EIA shows a high degree of overlap with the sockmaster ("Turkspasha") and CU blocked sock "Kuzeyeshgh", including on numerous very-low profile Azeri/Azerbaijan/Iran/Turkey articles. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:34, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The added IP's have the exact same editorial pattern and they all geolocate to the same spot. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:34, 15 July 2018 (UTC) LouisAragon (talk) 17:34, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This case is  Stale. However, Sharaqw1 is editing from the same location using the same ISP as previous CU-confirmed socks.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:08, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Same geolocation (Michigan, US), same obsession with Azeri/Azerbaijan/Iran/Turkey articles, same habit (alike the sockmaster and CU blocked socks) to not use edit summaries. Has reinstated edits earlier by the sockmaster & co too.[41]-[42]-[43]-[44] They are being disruptive, so I'm not only adding this for the record, but also asking for this IP to be blocked. - LouisAragon (talk) 13:40, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Tamzin:
  • Promopersia (CU blocked): added "Azeri cuisine" to the Kuku (food) article[45]
  • IP 68.49.61.21: added "Azerbaijani cuisine" to the Kuku (food) article[46]
  • Promopersia (CU blocked): changed "Iranian" into "Iranian Azerbaijani" at the Ali Daei article[49]
  • IP 68.49.61.21: added "Iranian Azerbaijani" to the Ali Daei article[50]
  • Promopersia (CU blocked): changed "Ta chin" into "Tachin" at the Tachin article[51]
  • IP 68.49.61.21: changed "Ta chin" into "Tachin" at the Tachin article[52]
In addition, he's the EIA.[53]-[54] - LouisAragon (talk) 00:53, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
