Suspected sockpuppets

Constantly adding same pictures to different articles and being reverted. In Israel article, Yossimgim added picture of Bar Refaeli 15 times and Dr. Feldinger once, despite discussion on talk page. In Israeli Jews, Yossimgim added picture of Bar Refaeli three times (1, 2, 3) and Dr. Feldinger once. Dr. Feldinger first edits are edit-warring on Benjamin Netanyahu article on 24 November 2014, the same day as Yossimgim edit-warring on the same article. Yossimgim was blocked three times before (1, 2, 3) and Dr. Feldinger once (1). Yossimgim also edit under misleading edit summaries (diff, diff). On unprotected articles often edit using dynamic IP. Example 1: Yossimgim; IP. Example 2: Yossimgim; IP, IP, IP. There's also a thread on the administrators' noticeboard. Triggerhippie4 (talk) 12:02, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yossimgim continue trolling and edit with new IP at the same time (109.64.118.22, added to the list above). Is it possible to block his IP ranges? Because he will not stop.--Triggerhippie4 (talk) 07:46, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Feldinger (DF) is clearly the same user. DF is created 08:17, 23 November 2014, a day Yossimgim doesn't edit. DF likes to blank warnings on user talk page just like Yossimgim (Yos, DF). Yossimgim is editing on Benjamin Netanyahu three days prior to DF's edits there on November 24, 2014. Events on November 24, 2014 for both accounts:

  • 3:33, 7:58, 8:01 - In first article edits, DF makes complicated edit on Benjamin Netanyahu (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) ([1], [2], [3]) demonstrating knowledge of wiki syntax.
  • 12:01 - Yossimgim removes "Binyamin" and cites netanyahu.org ([4])
  • 12:20 - DF refers to that website 20 minutes later when making HTML comments ([5]).
  • 12:24 - DF blanks warning on user talk page ([6])
  • 12:24, 12:34 - DF continues edits relating to Binyamin ([7], [8])
  • 12:55 - DF makes a proposal regarding "Binyamin" on the article talk page ([9]).
  • 13:10-13:24 - Yossimgim makes the first reply to the proposal 15 minutes later (here). Continues to discuss on talk page.
  • 13:20, 14:21 - Yossimgim makes edits related to "Binyamin" twice more ([10], [11])

DF goes on to edit the next two days on Jake Johnson while Yossimgim is inactive. Both do not edit from November 27 to December 1 when both accounts start up again. Both edit solely on Gadi Eizenkot during the 10 days of December at which point both go back to Benjamin Netanyahu. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 19:14, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fairly sure 109.64.100.131 is also him. The same edit-warring on articles about non-Jewish Israelis (they aren't real Israelis, apparently) and blanking of the user page when challenged. —  Cliftonian (talk)  21:50, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to give my further evidence regarding two found IP's whom I'm pretty sure are Yossimgim's.IP 79.178.211.197 and IP 109.65.217.133.
These remarkable trademark edits as made by these IPs are fully in line with the edits of Yossimgim, who has been blocked numerous times and was hanging on a thin rope, until he stopped editing very recently on 5 March 2016, and the IP's started editing just some days later. Main interests of all of them; religion charts, adding unrelated templates to articles.
Here are some examples that prove my point;
The IP's making the same edits;[12]-[13]-[14]-[15]-[16]-[17]-[18] (etc.)
Yossimgim making the same edits;[19]-[20]-[21]-[[22]-[23]-[24] (etc.)
There are many other behavioural matches such as the fact that Yossimgim has been blocked several times for edit-warring as well as making personal attacks,[25]-[26] which is, editorially, in line with the relatively small edit count the IP's have."You ruined the infobox you moron"-"Sundayclose su:)ck my balls".

Added another IP. So far, all have the same geolocation, as well as all of them having the same editorial pattern perfectly overlapping with those of Yossimgim. A poor low-profile user got blocked today as a result of this continous socking by user Yossimgim. A range block is on its place, if possible. - LouisAragon (talk) 00:25, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Users already blocked as a socks at the Hebrew Wikipedia here [30]. Other socks of sockmaster listed at Hebrew Wikipedia and already blocked on en.wikipedia are Dr. Feldinger and YesAlexander. Adding yet another IP sock (109.67.154.219) - this one made the same edit the suspected socks listed above have made over the last several weeks. Diff here: [31].   • Thanks, Winkelvi. I'm not sure I understand Amanda's findings. I get that she says that Wikipedia-Translator and Ismadeby are the same. I agree, but if she's saying that EditsOrArticles is likely to the other two, I don't. That account is also the same. Perhaps she's saying that all three accounts are likely to the master? In any event, EditsOrArticles is not the correct master. Either Wikipedia-Translator is based on technical and behavioral evidence, or we determine that they all likely belong to Yossigmgim. Or Sasson created a discussion about the lead of Natalie Portman. In the course of the discussion so far Or has modified someone's comment to fit their preferred format for the discussion and edit warred with two different editors to keep it in their preferred format. They also used the phrase Old is old when asked why the previous consensus should not hold. I made a comment and 79.180.27.80 comes in and moves part of the comment that Or was edit warring about earlier, moves my comment and changes the indent so it appears I am responding to someone I wasn't and then responds to my comment with Old consensus is old. This appears to be the same person just logging out to show it is someone else. -- GB fan 12:30, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:DUCK. Same articles as sockmaster and other previous socks, same edits being reverted for the same reasons (vandalism) at Gal Gadot. As well, same obsession with Avaya1, claiming their edits are vandalism and placing numerous edit warring notices on their talk page. Request CU and check for sleepers as this sock has a history of a well-stocked sock drawer.

WP:DUCK. Same type of edit warring and talk page disruption at Gal Gadot as previous sock accounts and anon IPs used by sockmaster. IPs in this report geolocate to the same place/area as the sockmaster's previous IP socks, as well.

IP contribution history and editor interaction analyzer show same article interests and similar article interests.

Request sleeper check as sockmaster has a long history of block evasion via sock with both registered accounts and IPs.

  • I ran a check once, two years ago. I'm not going to remember a one time check of that...I wouldn't expect anyone to. Sorry. As far as your IPs, they are hopping too much across ranges, that we can't even block a range of that size, the interface will not let us. And there is no point in blocking the IPs individually, when in the next few hours they will have a new one. Try an WP:EDITFILTER. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 19:19, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
