How come nomination statements are not being made publicly by the self-nominated candidates themselves here on this page anymore?

It is usually a multi-step process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/CheckUser and Oversight/2019 CUOS appointments for examples - once posted the candidates certainly can update on this page and will use this page to answer questions (I was a candidate last year so know it was a fairly easy process). — xaosflux Talk 02:45, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update?

[edit]

@KrakatoaKatie: October 14 has come and gone, is there a new target date for this being completed? — xaosflux Talk 02:25, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We were slowed down slightly by several arbitrators (myself included) having real-life interruptions that delayed voting. We're just wrapping this up, and should have results out in the next day or two. GorillaWarfare (talk) 02:30, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like I overshot my estimate a bit! Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Noticeboard#2020 CheckUser and Oversight appointments: Candidates appointed GorillaWarfare (talk) 03:22, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@GorillaWarfare: thanks - wasn't complaining - just wanted to set expectations realistically - stuff happens! :D — xaosflux Talk 13:33, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Xaosflux, the committee emailed the candidates ahead of the delay. Absolutely no complaints about the handling of it from me. Thanks to the committee for their work in conducting the process, Cabayi (talk) 14:24, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
