RESTORE (AND RENAME) THE ANTOINETTE TUFF ARTICLE

"not (highly) significant because no one died here" is perhaps an ironic illustration of decline in American values, however it is incorrect. It is precisely because no one died under circumstances where we might reasonably expect many to have been killed that this event was exceptional and this article IS significant. In WP:EVENT terms, by its outcome, the event was both interesting and very unusual, and therefor notable.

That being said, I can agree with the argument that Mz. Tuff's individual relevance on WP is entirely comprised of her exceptional involvement in no one dying during this event. As such, I would agree with renaming the article to more accurately reflect its significance. In my view, the title should reflect what is notable, such as : "Courage and empathy resolve gunman standoff".

From this perspective, this article is entirely separate from DeKalb County School District, which has even less to do with the event than Mz. Tuff does. Entirely relocating all mention of this event to DeKalb County School District is inappropriate. -- Visispace (talk) 06:01, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
