The group indicated above was recently revitalized for, among other things, the purpose of working on those articles whose content is such that the article does not fall within the scope of any particular denomination. To most effectively do this, however, we would benefit greatly if there were at least one member from this Project working on those articles. On that basis, I would encourage and welcome any member of this Project willing to work on those articles to join the Religion WikiProject. Thank you. Badbilltucker 14:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

I recently found that our article on Jesus is the first page that appears when anyone does a Google search of the subject. It is currently, regrettably, only at GA status. On that basis, I would request any individuals who might be interested in helping to bring this article up to FA status to indicate their support for the article being chosen as the AID article at Wikipedia:Article Creation and Improvement Drive#Jesus. Thank you for your attention. Badbilltucker 18:01, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Assemblies of God

The Assemblies of God article is drawing criticism and an indication of AFD nomination - see Talk:Assemblies of God Paul foord 05:49, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

New project proposal

There is a new WikiProject task force proposal at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Inter-religious content that is being proposed to deal specifically with articles whose content relates to several religious traditions. Any editors interested in joining such a group would be more than welcome to indicate their interest there. John Carter 15:09, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Good Articles

It is sad that we do not have any good articles yet. I have added a chart so we can track the ratings of our articles. We must do better. Idioma 22:52, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Scope of Project?

It might really help a newbie like me to know exactly which articles are considered within the scope of the project. I added a redundant statement of the category to the project page, but would like to have someone else review the category to see if there are any articles within the category that they do not think fall within the scope of the project. What "stories" of the Bible merit separate articles?

There has recently been some discussion regarding which "stories" or portions of the Bible merit having their own articles. For the purposes of centralized discussion, please make any comments at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Bible#What should have separate articles?. Thank you. John Carter 13:40, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

This article has been tagged as one thsi project is interested in. I would just offer a word of caution: several branches of evangelical Christianity look back to roots in various revivals; indeed some that are no longer theologically evangelical. I merely ask for care that this project should not appripriate to itself a subject that is rahter broader. I write this as a charismatic. Peterkingiron 21:51, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

"Neo-Pentecostalism"

What is the exact definition and place of Neo-Pentecostalism within the broader movement? Should we have an article on it—or should it be a redirect to another article where it's definition would be more appropriately described? Thanks.--Pharos 22:47, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Not only has this article been tagged with the charismatic Christianity banner, it also has been categorized into Category:Charismatic and Pentecostal Christianity. I am going to challenge the latter issue, however, what articles a WikiProject wants to adopt should be left to its participants exclusively. But it looks awkward. __meco 07:21, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I don't think it is a topic this project would be particularly interested in. Christian demonology is more in this project's line of interest. Though even that one as written has essentially nothing to do with charismatic christianity, it is the appropriate place for recording charismatic christianity's point of view on demonology, rather than the main article. I'm going to pull the project banner from demonology. GRBerry 14:00, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
