Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions), or in "articles for deletion" debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process.
This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions on the template or on your talk page.
Note that requests for undeletion is not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.
To contest deletions that have have already been discussed (in particular, at Articles for deletion), or that are likely to be controversial, please make a request at Wikipedia:Deletion review instead. |

I would like to work on a page about her; since one existed at one time, it seems reasonable to expand that rather than try to create a new one from scratch. -Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 17:05, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

I have legal proof this is a relevant vocal group. Why was the article deleted? Everything posted is factual. I can't reach Daniel (the admin) for comment. Please help. -KS 23:39, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Well, as you have posted to Daniels talk-page 16 minutes after the request here, I advise you to have some patience; he will be around. Let me point you to WP:COI, and talking about legal proof is not cutting much hay here. This is not a court. I am sure Daniel will respond. For now, I will not restore this. Lectonar (talk) 10:48, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me Lectonar. I've read the article on COI & I'm aware of its policies. I am a neutral party with verifiable proof of the validity of this article. I still await Daniels response - I will wait till I hear from him. Thanks again for your timely response. - Well, your choice of username let me believe otherwise....a bit of an unhappy choice, really. Lectonar (talk) 22:01, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'll reply here rather than on my talk page to keep everything centralised.
- The article lacked any references which actually said what the article claimed - a photo of the two together and a passing mention that they collaborated. One member of the two people quoted in the article emailed OTRS pointing out that the duet is nowhere near notable enough (as a duet) to be included in Wikipedia, as they have barely collaborated together. I agreed, and thought that it was a misrepresentation to allow the article to stand. Per their request, I deleted the article for the pair. I won't be undoing it and will be deleting any recreations. I also strongly agree with the block for the username, although I'd argue that the account could have been blocked on promotion/'unapproved and unverified representation of a public figure' grounds anyways. This page was flagged with possible copyright infringement by the bot. I commented the fact that permission had been given by the owner. The email was sent to the "en" permission address. The page has since been deleted.
This page should be reinstated as permission for use of the text was given. The permission has been resent to the non-"en" permission address in the last hour, so there should be no doubt that use is permitted. Ml-crest (talk) 19:42, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Word windowism
The reason for deleting Word windowism is that it is about a club or organization and that it does not state why it is important, but in-fact it is a subculture-a scientific concept of the culture the popular world calls outcasts, and it is also a very large subculture found everywhere across the entire USA but was founded in Austin. And I did say why it is important when I wrote: word windowism is an anthropological subculture -Liberalufp (talk) 12:00, 18 March 2013 (UTC) --Liberalufp (talk) 12:00, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

What you should add here is a brief statement of why you think the article should be restored, in particular how Tolanski meets the notability standard of WP:MUSICBIO. JohnCD (talk) 21:14, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
- Further comment: I posted the same advice on Danicek06's talk page, but their only return here was to make another attempt to add the whole article. However, I will copy here this which they put on the talk page of the deleted (and salted) article:
"Derrion Tolanski is known on the Internet and on Youtube!! He has over 27,000 followers and 19,000 fans on facebook! He is really known and you should not delete this article about him please!!"

This article was deleted based on a false notability claim. - Not done - As announced at the top of the page, this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Antique Wellhead, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Ryan Postlethwaite (talk · contribs). Finnish Centre Students
-- Finnish Centre Students is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) political student organisation in Finland and the student wing of one of the major political parties here. A quick look tells that tens or even hundreds of similar organisations have Wikipedia sites. (For instance Association of Christian Democratic Students, Conservative Students (Denmark), AktionsGemeinschaft, Liberal Student Clubs (Romania), Federal Association of Liberal Students Groups, Students' League of the Conservative Party (Norway), Confederation of Swedish Conservative and Liberal Students. Many major Finnish politicians have been members of this organisation. I would defenitely keep it here.
Finland has four or five major political student organisations. So far two of them have Wikipedia site: Social Democratic Students (Finland) and Federation of Green Youth and Students. I do not see any reason why the same status should not be given to the Centre Students and also to the Conservative and Left wing student organisations. Famous ex-members include Chairman of Shell Jorma Ollila and one of the most well known Finnish politicians Paavo Väyrynen. Ex-president Urho Kekkonen was giving a speech in the founding event. Ex-Prime Minister Johannes Virolainen was the first Secretary General of the organisation. [1][2]
The organisation is still active and producing politicians to the top level in Finnish politics.

Please note that you need to demonstrate that he passes our inclusion criteria for biographies, and also please note that your own unpublished research (including from interviews) isn't allowed to be used as a source; you'll need to use things about Hatton that have been published in reliable sources in order to write an article about him. List of publications in law
I would like this article to be transwikied to Wikiversity, mainly so that I can use it in the preparation of a bibliography that is already begun there. I assume that this falls within the words "This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be ... used elsewhere" that appear at the top of this page.
This article was deleted on 9 December 2006. The present page is a redirect that was created later and does not have the page history of the original article. The only legitimate argument offered during the AfD debate was that this list contained an element of original research inasmuch as publications were being included on the strength of the personal opinions of editors. Wikiversity now, as far as I can see, allows original research of this kind, so there should be no objection to its being relocated there. (For the avoidance of doubt, the complaints that there were too many publications in law for them to be listed were erroneous because a wiki is not paper and in any event, although I have not seen it, this list must have been a selective bibliography at the time of its deletion). -James500 (talk) 12:13, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Joseph Suglia
There are four preexisting Wikipedia pages that refer explicitly to Joseph Suglia: the Victor Heck, David Bagsby, Steve Balderson, and Watch Out (film) pages all refer to Joseph Suglia explicitly. In the External References, there were at least three reputable sources: the Internet Movie Database, The Daily Telegraph, and the Chicago Reader. There was not a single word of self-promotion in the article. List of K.O.3an Guo characters
When the article got deleted, it was stated in the reasons as 'Entirely in-universe, no secondary sources.' The thing is, this article, it is just an extended article for the drama K.O.3an Guo, where more information about the characters can be found, of course there will not have any secondary sources for it. Most/majority of the information are fictitious, it's not even real at all. Please restore this page back, it's kind of hard to understand what the drama is talking about/know more about the characters by just watching the show. -Virgo8994 (talk) 10:36, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

I know it is not much on the page but I am interviewing Mr. Hatton in April and will be adding more information. Frankly, I don't know why the original article was deleted. -Mrozowski1234 (talk) 20:34, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- Not done The article was deleted under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it contained no content indicating any importance or significance of the subject. That is not an assessment of the subject's actual importance or significance, but of what was then written about the subject. We get a thousand or more new entries every day and many of them are indeed about insignificant subjects. We thus need a method to cull that material quickly where nothing is indicated so we are not overwhelmed. You're right, there was almost nothing there – one sentence. There's no need to undelete it. If this is a valid topic, then it can simply be re-created, but that should be done with substantive content that meets our policies. Please note that if your interview is published as a reliable source (for example, you are a journalist and your interview appears in a newspaper) then that material can be used to show notability and to verify content in the article through citation (for this, see also WP:BLP). Note, though, that interviews are a mix of secondary and primary source material and we want secondary sources). If that interview you mention is not published as a reliable source, it is not useful material for the article.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:00, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

The company is notable, is listed in several blogs, and has two or three larger job search sites feeding it. -Morgan robinson (talk) 23:47, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. "is listed in several blogs" does not begin to constitute any remote hint of a suggestion of the possibility of notability. --Orange Mike | Talk 00:19, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

Sir, I don't know, why someone asked to remove the article: Aminul Haque Wasel Maizbhanderi and you removed. I could not understand what and how to do in reply. In the mean time, I created the page again as: Aminul Haque Wasel. Afterwards, while browsing, I found out your reference. If it is mistake, please, don’t misunderstand me. Let me understand who to go forward. My, conflicts are: 1) Someone is rapidly changing my creation on the article: Aminul Haque Wasel Maizbhanderi at the segment: List of his Successor/ Khalifa http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmed_Ullah_Maizbhanderi#List_of_his_Successor.2F_Khalifa
In contrary, I would like to create the page again as the Keyword: Aminul Haque Wasel Maizbhanderi instead of as its in present: Aminul Haque Wasel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aminul_Haque_Wasel Please, check all the 2 articles. I wrote there a note as bellow:

Review shopping by multiple requests is no going to work and it's unfortunately clear you are not taking in those answers, nor do you care that we are spending more time on each answer than it took for you to write the one sentence article that was deleted and did not comply with our policies.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 11:30, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

- Not done. The references are (a) two local newspaper accounts with one-line quotes from him on the need for a playground fence and a primary school, (b) four which show his name in lists of councillors, (c) his own LinkedIn page. That is nothing like enough to show notability. The note to WP:POLITICIAN #2 says "A politician who has received "significant press coverage" has been written about, in depth, independently in multiple news feature articles, by journalists." The WP:GNG says: ""Significant coverage" means that sources address the subject directly in detail... Significant coverage is more than a trivial mention" See also WP:42 for what is required. Decision based on a Google search which may not be the best metric available.
Wiki search for "rifle club" returns 3,289 for rifle club.
On acceptance there is new and expanded information as to the history of the club and the historic Hornsby rifle range in use since 1858, which is only one of two long distance (800m) shooting ranges located in Sydney NSW, Australia.
Thank you.

This should have not been deleted. There are many references and cross links across Wikipedia previously established. The article shouls appear as follows: Erik Avakian is an established ASCAP singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and recording engineer. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Erik has toured the country with some of the most successful bands in the business. In the early part of his career, Erik was vocalist and keyboardist for the top New England touring band Sunshyne, which not only had a number one hit on Boston radio stations, but was composed of some of New England's most talented and successful players including Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch and Mary J. Blige former drummer, Pookie Coles.
Erik has recorded lead vocal, background vocal, and keyboard tracks in recording studios throughout the country and has collaborated extensively with some of the most influential musicians of our era including Nicko McBrain, drummer for Iron Maiden. Erik is a former member of the rock band Fuel (1993 - 1996) and has collaborated and recorded keyboard tracks on several of Fuel's originals including the Top 10 Billboard hit song Shimmer. His background vocals and keyboard work are prominently featured and credited on many of the tracks from the pre-Fuel release Small the Joy up to and including Fuel's next two self-titled releases including the album Porcelain. Several audio Samples that feature Erik's work can be downloaded directly from Fuel's website. A songwriter at heart, Erik has written and produced hundreds of songs and continues to write and record his own material in his Protools recording studio.
