Reversion in TAP Portugal
I don't know what kind of reversion you may have made in TAP Portugal page according to your justification, since TAP Portugal doesn't fly to Tel Aviv, nor any other city in Asia. Nupest 0:10, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
Finding reliable source
Hi jetstremar I am runaparvin you told me if I want to add anything I have to add a reliable source but how can I add a reliable source changing the destinations? Please help me adding a reliable source but I can't understand why not you changing the page of us-bangla airlines.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Runaparvin (talk • contribs)

Aeroflot 593
Hello Jetstreamer: Wow you caught me as Im about to go get some sleep :) so I guess to the point, lol..ok Aeroflot 593, about the Boeing 737 next to it, I'm agreeing with you, not 100 percent but certainly enough to tell you I see your point, and you are probably correct. About listing the Jessica Dubroff article there, I put an explanation as why she-or should I say, it-should be on the "see also" list right next to the link itself. I mean to me they were similar because they were both instances in which children were in the cockpit during a tragic circumstance. Anyways, take care, God bless you!...Antonio AeroCrazyLot Martin (loser's talk page) 13:55, August 30, 2016 (UTC)
Changes in austral destinations
Hi, sorry for not putting any references in my changes on that article, is that i do not know how to do it. If you check in "Austral lineas aereas" website you will see that the destinations I changed were correct, and one of them I knew it was wrong because i live in the city where austral serves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Santi Bucchi (talk • contribs) 00:55, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
Afriqiyah Airways Edit
Dear Jetstreamer,
I was trying to add the source but you had already deleted my edit by the time I was figuring it out.
I am a Maltese citizen and it is happening in my country right now.
While I understand your point, I think you were a bit rash in your decision to delete my edit. Would not have taken much time to verify.

Copyvios and G12
In the future, if there's a copyvio as blatant as this one, please tag it for speedy deletion under WP:G12 instead of PRODing. Thanks! ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 01:38, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Patar knight: Actually, I surveyed the speedy deletion reasons in Twinkle but did not notice that G12 was at the end of the list. Got it.--Jetstreamer Talk 12:41, 24 December 2016 (UTC)

Editor of the Week seeking nominations (and a new facilitator)
The Editor of the Week initiative has been recognizing editors since 2013 for their hard work and dedication. Editing Wikipedia can be disheartening and tedious at times; the weekly Editor of the Week award lets its recipients know that their positive behaviour and collaborative spirit is appreciated. The response from the honorees has been enthusiastic and thankful.
The list of nominees is running short, and so new nominations are needed for consideration. Have you come across someone in your editing circle who deserves a pat on the back for improving article prose regularly, making it easier to understand? Or perhaps someone has stepped in to mediate a contentious dispute, and did an excellent job. Do you know someone who hasn't received many accolades and is deserving of greater renown? Is there an editor who does lots of little tasks well, such as cleaning up citations?
Please help us thank editors who display sustained patterns of excellence, working tirelessly in the background out of the spotlight, by submitting your nomination for Editor of the Week today!
In addition, the WikiProject is seeking a new facilitator/coordinator to handle the logistics of the award. Please contact L235 if you are interested in helping with the logistics of running the award in any capacity. Remove your name from here to unsubscribe from further EotW-related messages. Unsourced additions from 194.78.209.188
Hi JetStreamer, I do not like your messages about my contributions (in line with the philosophy of Wkipedia) as all my contributions are based on publicly available data & news (for example of the updated airline etc.) but apparently you do not like that or think you 'own the pages' — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.78.209.188 (talk) 21:36, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
- I don't like both your addition of unsourced information and your lack of knowledge about the Wikipedia policies.--Jetstreamer Talk 23:49, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
Aviation Stubs
Hi, the reason I add stub tags articles (especially ones that can be added to with translation of a different article) is b/c 1)Some are, by definition, stubs 2)they are flagged as aviation accident stubs so they have a greater chance of being lengthened 3)they can easily be found in Category:Aviation accident stubs to await addition 4)People like me can find them in such category and edit them when translation of other article or source is available. Currently searching for somebody who is very fluent in Russian to complete Aeroflot crash articles, and an EgyptAir crash article. I do eventually ad to the articles, putting them in the stub category helps me find what needs expansion. For example, I edited Aeroflot Flight 3843 to a point it was no longer a stub b/c in was in the category PlanespotterA320 (talk) 13:48, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- @PlanespotterA320: Ok, but mind WP:HERE.--Jetstreamer Talk 14:04, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Aeroflot 331
I noticed you deleted my table and un-did my edits. I provided the source, but you said they were unsourced and I can't undo edit. [1] Катастрофа Ил-62М ЦУ МВС близ Гаваны (Куба) [Accident Il-62M Havana] (in Russian). airdisaster.ru. Retrieved 7 August 2012. I save it ever couple of minutes b/c my computer crashes a lot, please wait an hour or two before you delete edits. Please undo the rollback, the source [1] was at the bottom of the table. BA destinations edit
Per your diff here, can you please explain why you are violating the long-standing WP policy at WP:DERRY? Regardless of the reference may say, the city is referred to as Derry on Wikipedia and the county is referred to as Londonderry. We are discussing BA's destinations and the reference says Londonderry, but we aren't quoting from the reference, and to promote consistency, we should use Derry per the MOS. --st170e 13:17, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- @St170e: I'm not against the use of Derry if there's an explanatory note. As you said, Londonderry is the name supported by the source (and not Derry) so there's no violation to WP:VERIFY, which requires material to be directly supported by the reference. Please also note that even though Londonderry is visible in the article there's a piped link that links to Derry. I think this is not a violation to WP:DERRY either.--Jetstreamer Talk 15:18, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your reply! If we use Londonderry for every source we use on WP, there would be a lack of consistency which is why I changed it initially (the MOS aims for consistency too). It is still the same city, it's just that (for the name controversy), there are guidelines for how we should avoid controversies like this. The source still backs the reference up anyway, regardless of the name. st170e 15:51, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- @St170e: As I said above, I'm not against the use of Derry but the source does not directly support it. Does an explanatory note work for you if you change it back to Derry? Or maybe a hidden note so we do not disrupt the article?--Jetstreamer Talk 16:39, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- That's fine with me, an explanatory note would be good to explain that Londonderry is used in the source. --st170e 18:41, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- Matter settled [1].--Jetstreamer Talk 19:58, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
