Hello, I'm Frost. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Komodo Edit because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Rita, Sue and Bob Too

Hi, I'm Spectrallights. This comment is in regards to edits I made at Rita, Sue and Bob Too after copy editing. I removed the section you added about Marketing because it was a literal description of the images on the poster. There appears to be nothing significant or specific about the marketing that warrants its own section; i.e., the mullets on the poster don't appear to have been responsible for the film's success. WP:PARAGRAPH has more information on how to structure sections and paragraphs. If you think I made a mistake or have a question, you can message me on my talk page. The Last Dinner Party Edit

Hi, I have made a topic on the "The Last Dinner Party" talk page about information you added to it on 3 July 2024. I would appreciate it if you could clarify the questions I outline in it, it is linked below

Thanks. Ewan-65 (talk) 18:45, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Komodo Edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Wburrow (talk) 20:55, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Lori Lieberman, you may be blocked from editing. Per WP:DOB, you cannot use California Birth Index on living persons. Binksternet (talk) 15:31, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I saw it used on other pages 98.248.161.240 (talk) 20:46, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"disrupt" is predjudice 98.248.161.240 (talk) 20:47, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you tell me which living person biographies reference the California Birth Index I will go around and remove such references. We had to wait more than a year after death to use that reference at Nipsey Hussle's biography. The person must not be alive, and they must not have died recently. where is California Birth Index mentioned in wikipedia:wikipedia ?
98.248.161.240 (talk) 21:17, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BLPPRIMARY says you can't use public records for birthdate or full name. WP:DOB says we can supply the birthday only if it is widely published. Binksternet (talk) 22:10, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lori Lieberman. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 21:55, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In this series of edits, you added the middle name Ann which does not appear in your cited sources. The sources are an obituary of Lori's mom which fails WP:USERG, and a nice write-up by Christine Lavin who is an expert observer, but doesn't give us Lori's full name. Obviously you are still relying upon the California Birth Index without explicitly citing it. Binksternet (talk) 22:04, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I said this before I made the edits and you did not respond. This is in the LA Times. In two separate obits. They do not say paid article.
