    Articles-Oceans linkspam - linkhijacking and hiding reference in "search results"

    Following blacklisting of the main link and the declined whitelist request, the user began creating links to search results and forums that then link to the website. Note that the actions of the user include vandalism of original WT:WPSPAM report.

    User has in a few cases engaged in link-hijacking to attempt hiding the addition. The primary articles affected are Article (grammar) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) and Article directory (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 16:23, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

    The spamming began on 23 Jan, but increased substantially just today, 25 Jan. All but two of the accounts are SPAs. Brandi1926 had made one other, minor edit Sept'07. Imran anbu previously spammed a different link July 2008.
    Looks like the editors are going through a medical dictionary, spamming every entry, because almost all the articles they've hit so far begin with "a".
    Probably best for XLinkBot, because the domain might be considered a reliable source in some situations. --Ronz (talk) 18:09, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
