Notable enough for a full article?

According to io9, this is a fan project that has boiled down most episodes of the first three seasons of the show into easy-to-watch chunks of 2-3 minutes each. Is that important enough for its own article? Its not like the Star Trek: Phase II (fan series) as the article suggests. WikiuserNI (talk) 22:08, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Given that description, no it's not. I've placed a notability template. The article is also not a disambiguation page, and should not under any circumstances be split between two different subjects. The more notable of the two inherits this article. If the other is also sufficiently notable, it should be spun off into a new article with a disambiguated title. I can't find anything of any project underway for Space: 2099. Nothing seems to be in production. The first article mention was the 2012, but it is now 2019, and no project. Until there is an actual production, this article is good intentioned, but where is the project ? Unless a project can be confirmed or is in production, deletion of this article is best. Thanks. Retcon studio fan project details

The Retcon fan project details, which were never particularly notable anyway, should be removed. Space 2099 is now the title of an official remake of Space 1999 BY ITV Studios America and HD Films. The article should be about that alone. It's fine to mention the Retcon fan project in the article since it shared the same name, but details should be kept to a minimum in terms of relevance. 88.104.28.158 (talk) 15:16, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
