Week 4 / Add a citation to One Article / ywrhea
1. The article I chose is https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ageism#Implicit_ageism This article introduces the background of implicit ageism and how implicit ageism influence individual's behavior. Futhermore, the article reviews two methods that have been widely used to measure implicit ageism and relevant research findings. I revised a sentence, because the previous one does not illustrate its ideas very clearly. I think what I revised is more accurate.
2. The link to the difference is https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/981919992.
3. Through this process, I found some statements in Wikipedia are not trustworthy enough. Even though it has resources that can be traced, it might not state the definition clearly and may miss some important points. Therefore, we should be more careful when we edit our Wikipedia articles. Ywrhea (talk) 05:07, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 2 / Evaluation / JS11323
After viewing the all trainning about how to evalute an article, I knew the reason why we should evalute the articles, and everyone could learn from those articles for free. However, I found that not all articles are reliable or correct, the authors of these article in Wiki are just like us, normal people or someone who knows a little bit about this. I felt very fulfilled after doing these steps. Here is the link of my comment of the article I chose: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inclusion_(education). Here is the evaluation of this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Js11323/Inclusion(education). --Js11323 (talk) 16:35, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
- Js11323, Please follow the directions exactly, as you edited the article itself which was quickly reverted with your feedback and also did not complete the article evaluation per the Week 2 instructions. Complete the evaluation per the Wiki Edu dashboard Week 2 instructions and ping me here when done and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 19:07, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
I have done the evaluation from the WIKI Edu dashboard Week 2. Here is the link of my comment of the article I chose: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inclusion_(education). Here is the evaluation of this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Js11323/Evaluate_an_Article--Js11323 (talk) 02:46, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Js11323, I don't see the article evaluation on the second link you shared. Please review the assignment for what should be there and then reping me. FULBERT (talk) 19:41, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
Here is the link of my evaluation, I don't know why it does not show the real page, but I copy and paste the same link, it works. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Js11323/Evaluate_an_Article --Js11323 (talk) 06:46, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

I have done.--Js11323 (talk) 22:40, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- Js11323 Please remember to indent your replies with one colon " : " for each level of indent you want, as this helps with readability. Do this as a reply and then ping me here, and then I will take a look at it and reply. --- FULBERT (talk) 00:38, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 4 / Add a Citation to One Article / JS11323
I chose an article called "inclusion (education)" for my research paper, and the article citation I added is about the participation of people with disabilities in the workplace across the employment. Here is the link of the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inclusion_(education). Here is the difference between revisions: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Inclusion_%28education%29&type=revision&diff=981385606&oldid=979796888. After doing this lesson, I have learned how to add a citation, and I will update more credible sources in the future. --Js11323 (talk) 00:46, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- Js11323, Nice edit! Current. FULBERT (talk) 22:11, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Week3 / Copyedit an Article / 八路军被服厂李厂长
In this week, I kept adding some facts that make the passage read more logically. The summary of the change is link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:%E5%85%AB%E8%B7%AF%E5%86%9B%E8%A2%AB%E6%9C%8D%E5%8E%82%E6%9D%8E%E5%8E%82%E9%95%BF/Liu_Bei/Bibliography?preload=Template%3ADashboard.wikiedu.org_bibliography
Here is the link shows the difference. https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Liu_Bei&type=revision&diff=981330337&oldid=980970715
This work is fairly easy from my perspective, this is the second time I edit for this article, and feels great. First time I added a citation, but it was a link toward another wiki, I may want change that afterwards.--八路军被服厂李厂长 (talk) 17:39, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
- 八路军被服厂李厂长, You did not have to draft your assignment on your user page, so you may want to remove it from there. Otherwise, this is fine. Current. FULBERT (talk) 00:33, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Week3/ Copyedit an article/ Haomimimi
1. Here is the article that I have edited: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=English_Through_Actions# 2. The link to the differences between previous version and the current one is: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:History/English_Through_Actions 3. I changed the last two sentences to make the meaning easier to understand. During the process, I find that there are some sentences that are reductant and need further polished. Haomimimi (talk) 14:04, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- FULBERT This is my Week 3 task.
- Haomimimi, Please assign yourself this article in the Wiki Edu Dashboard and then ping me here. I will then take a look at it and reply. FULBERT (talk) 22:18, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Week 4 / Add a Citation to One Article / CaptainJoseph
In this week's exercise, I assigned myself Chinese philosophy as my exercise article. By going through that article, I identified a gap in that article which is how does those ancient philosophers influence modern society. After I look though articles, I find one that best fit for this gap and I used that article as my citation. Here is the difference between two versions. In this exercise, I learned how to identify gaps in wiki article and how to use the library to find out article to fill this vacancy. CaptainJoseph (talk) 01:16, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
- CaptainJoseph, Nice edit. Current. FULBERT (talk) 22:20, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Week3 / Copyedit an Article / Muzizimu
I removed a comma before "and" because I think the comma is not necessary. Please see my difference link: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Body_shape&type=revision&diff=981803437&oldid=979596733 I learned how to copyedit an article and not all articles are perfect. Week3 / Copyedit an Article / 燕京赵大知识分子
I removed an extra space after a sentence just for a better reading experience and consistency overall. I removed the extra space before "Moreover, once SMB and HML are defined..." Here is the difference link: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Fama%E2%80%93French_three-factor_model&type=revision&diff=980755075&oldid=971266100

Week 4 / Add a Citation to One Article / ASCXX
1. This is the article I edited this week: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonald%27s
2. This is the diff page: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=McDonald%27s&diff=982056397&oldid=982005831
3. I learned by adding more detailed information can make the articale more clear and accurate. The part I edited was takling about international menu variations, however, it only has limited examples of other countries' menu. By adding more supportive evidence, I enriched the information of this part of article. ASCXX (talk) 23:04, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 4 / Add a Citation to One Article / 燕京赵大知识分子
Since I am interested in some finance theories, I found an article talking about time value of money as a theory which could benefit investors. The article explains it well but lacks sufficient citation to support, so I searched online and found a credible source which explains this theory in a very similar fashion. Here is the difference link: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Rate_of_return&diff=982088013&oldid=980105037
I learned that even for mature theory, adding a citation can better support your point, and let readers have more space to expand on the topic. 燕京赵大知识分子 (talk) 03:25, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- 燕京赵大知识分子, Nice initial edit. Current. FULBERT (talk) 12:13, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 2/Evaluate an article/Forza spurs
I selected the article introducing Christian Abbiati, who is a former AC MILAN player. I am a fan of Milan as well as Abbiati himself. Here is the link of the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Abbiati. After my evaluation, I believe that there should be a citation to explain an event in his career and the following is the link to the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Christian_Abbiati&diff=982152533&oldid=979300979. In the process of evaluation, I realized that when we are assessing an article, many aspects need to be taken into consideration, especially the sources of information must be reliable. Besides, I found that the tools provided by Wiki are very useful.Forza spurs (talk) 13:33, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

2. Link to diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Nintendo_Switch&diff=980839379&oldid=980521200
3. I did not realize Wikipedia contains so many minor errors, it could be a tiny error such as missing a comma. I learned the importance of kept editing and correcting articles on Wikipedia. Every small change adds up to a perfect article. ASCXX (talk) 19:43, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- ASCXX, Please assign yourself this article in the Wiki Edu Dashboard and then ping me here. I will then take a look at it and reply. FULBERT (talk) 00:02, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 4/ Add a Citation to One Article/ Haomimimi
1. The article that I edit is Green Tax. I find that there is barely explanation of this concept about what it is, so I add the explanation. And here is the link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_tax#
2. The link to the difference is: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Carbon_tax&type=revision&diff=982214505&oldid=981634730
3. What I learned is that when we explain a concept, it is more important to introduce what it is and the background, and its meaning. Then it would be much easy to understand. Haomimimi (talk) 20:24, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- FULBERT This is my Week 4 HW.

WEEK4 / ADDING CITATION / dyy122dyy
1. The article I read is Confucius. The journal I read talks about Confucius's political attitude. "Ren" is the idea provided by Confucius. 2. The link to the difference is: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Confucius&type=revision&diff=981635437&oldid=980984464 3. This work is challenging but fun. I have to carefully and rationally read the articles and find the plague definition that needs to be explained more thoroughly. After finding the plague information, I read many journals that explain the definition. Dyy122dyy (talk) 15:05, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
- Dyy122dyy, Please assign yourself this article in the Wiki Edu Dashboard and then ping me here. I will then take a look at it and reply. Also, I see your edit was reverted. Reply here about your thoughts related to this, and you will be current then. FULBERT (talk) 22:24, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
- FULBERT, I have already assigned myself the article in wiki edu dashboard. WIKI said the idea "ren" was mentioned above, but "ren" is a political idea which is better to be mentioned in the section of "politics" and explained in here. If the edit was reverted, do I need to do a new citation? Also, I find my week 3 post was missing and I don't know why. Dyy122dyy (talk) 22:36, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- Dyy122dyy, Good explanation that may not have been clear to that other editor. This is fine for now. Current. FULBERT (talk) 19:58, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
Week 4 / Add a Citation to One Article / Muzizimu
I read through an article called Dynamic clothing simulation based on skeletal motion of the human body and added few sentence on Body Shape. The differences link:https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Body_shape&type=revision&diff=982188009&oldid=981803437 I learned that Wikipedia is an open source for anyone to edit and correct user's mistake which is a very friendly and continent environment.Muzizimu (talk) 17:31, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 4 / Add a Citation to One Article / 八路军被服厂李厂长
The article I used for this article is talking about the biggest Fintech company in China---Ant Group. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ant_Group
The passage didn't mention why it can gather so much wealth from its services. Then I cite in couple sentences and added one peer-reviewed article from my research. Here is the link for the difference. https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Ant_Group&diff=prev&oldid=981500292
What i learned from this is never to trust on wikipedia...... Sometimes their information aren't specific and not valuable at all..... And they do revert whatever you did :( sad for me. 八路军被服厂李厂长 (talk) 18:12, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- 八路军被服厂李厂长, Your citation was reverted; can you find a better place in the article for this to go? Ping me here when you add it someplace more fitting. FULBERT (talk) 22:15, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 5 / Add a Citation and Contribute to One Article / JS11323
The article I chose is called "Manatee" and this is my favorite species. The citation I added can provide the close relatives of the manatee. The following is the link to the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manatee. Here is the link of difference between revisions: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Manatee&type=revision&diff=982581943&oldid=981578742. After doing this assignment, I knew more about how to add citations in an article, and I knew more what is called "content gap", which is useful for me. --Js11323 (talk) 01:39, 9 October 2020 (UTC)
- Js11323, Your edit was reverted in less than an hour; wow, that was fast! I would have reverted your edit due to its not being a high-level, objective source, but overall good enough for this assignment. Current. FULBERT (talk) 16:24, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
Week 4/Add a citation to one article/Forza spurs
The article to which I chose to add a citation is the article introducing Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáenz de la Torre(known as suso), who isa professional soccer player. The link to the article is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suso_(footballer)#Club_career. In addition, the link to diff is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Suso_(footballer)&diff=982323974&oldid=981292318. In this process, I learned that although sometimes an article in WIKE seems complete and detailed, it is still possible to find some contents that have not been expalined deeply enough.Forza spurs (talk) 13:16, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
- Forza spurs, Please assign yourself this article in the Wiki Edu Dashboard and then ping me here. I will then take a look at it and reply. FULBERT (talk) 20:20, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 5/Add a citation and contribute to one article/Forza spurs
I added a citation to an article introducing Fabricio Oberto who is a former NBA player. The citation I added can give readers more detailed statistics and make a complement to the content about his rookie year in NBA. The following is the link to the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabricio_Oberto#NBA_career. In addition, here is the link to diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Fabricio_Oberto&diff=982328680&oldid=954702775. After this assignment, I looked back to the defnition "content gap" learned during previous weeks and I have realized that it is quite important to remdy this kind of gap.Forza spurs (talk) 14:03, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

Week 2 / Evaluate an Article / lipute17
I assigned myself "Men in Black (film series)" to edit. I was a big fan of the movie series when I was a a kid. I have watched the series at least ten times. I think this is really a great opportunity for me to contribute to the movie series that I really like, and make more people to be familiar with the movie setups.
