Hello Books & Bytes subscribers. There is a new Visual Editor reference feature in development called Citoid. It is designed to "auto-fill" references using a URL or DOI. We would really appreciate you testing whether TWL partners' references work in Citoid. Sharing your results will help the developers fix bugs and improve the system. Hello, Thank you for your anti-vandalism contributions. After a review of your rollbacks, it appears that you are not providing proper warning messages to the editors that you are reverting. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Miriam Camp, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bryn Mawr. I find the attempts to provoke any editor into some sort of negative response far less civil than mentioning any particular gender's genitalia. There was absolutely NO reason for that editor to be posting on Eric's page other than an attempt to provoke and WP:HARRASS him. The block should stand.
There is a long history here, and if you are familiar with it, then I can only assume you support such behavior. I hope that is not the case. — Ched : ? 01:01, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- Please don't pretend that I support the actions of an editor because I recognized an instance of incivility against them. Giano's attack on Lightbreather occurred on Eric's talk page in a discussion that Giano had not previously been a part of. WP:NPA doesn't have a clause saying that it's okay to attack editors if you think they're being disruptive. Since you don't seem to be interested in doing anything about ongoing incivility, you might also like to not do anything about an editor calling me "a problem" and implying I'm on drugs. gobonobo + c 01:28, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- Reading through the entire thread on Eric's talk, and as was pointed out to you here, the entire subject matter of "ovaries" was brought up by Lightbreather. Suggesting that they (LB) take them (the ovaries) and leave the page, where they (LB) were clearly being confrontational, is not a personal attack in my opinion. In reviewing your recent contribs, I can understand why an editor might consider your recent edits "a problem". In light of everything I've seen, I find it very unlikely that you and I will reach any sort of agreement on this. Hopefully in some future discussion we can find that we agree on something, but I doubt it will be here and now. I'll leave you to your page. — Ched : ? 02:28, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- (I don't want to start a new thread.) Every time I read "imply" I am afraid. I look at attitude more than single remarks and their implications which may be subject to interpretation. I have found Eric on the side of women in times of need and will not forget that. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:47, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

You're invited to the Ally Skills Workshop at Wikimania!
Thank you for contributing to the grant request for training Wikipedia admins to be more aware of sexism! This grant has been approved in pilot form, and the Ada Initiative is running an Ally Skills Workshop at Wikimania 2015. This workshop will focus on teaching specific skills and techniques directly relevant to Wikipedia admins and editors, and in particular will teach people about the psychology of trolls. The workshop will be on Thursday July 16 from 2pm to 5pm in Don Diego 3.
If you are attending Wikimania, you are invited to apply to the Ally Skills Workshop! Space is limited and we may not be able to accept all applications, so apply now. More information, including a link to the application form, is here:
Ally Skills Workshop description and application form
People of all genders are welcome to attend. Unfortunately, travel scholarships for Wikimania are already closed and we don't know of any other sources of travel funding. If you know anyone else attending Wikimania who might be interested in attending this workshop, please encourage them to apply!
Thank you for your time,
Valerie Aurora (Instructor and Interim Executive Director of the Ada Initiative)

Disambiguation link notification for July 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nashwa Eassa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nanotube. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Dai Burger
The article Dai Burger has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (biographies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
