Introduction

Epic, long term edit-warring disruption at AEK Athens F.C. (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). The protection log of the article looks like a WP:BATTLEGROUND. This account and his IP socks have been engaging in sustained, longterm edit-warring adding unsourced information, while also erasing sourced information that AEK ended up 2nd after playoffs, while it initially finished 4th. The article had to be protected multiple times due to his edits and those of his socks erasing that information and adding unsourced information to boot. Yesterday I warned him about his erasing of the playoffs information. What does he do today? He erased the exact same edit, I warned him about. Apart from Cosmote Mobile IPs 5.144.221.48 and 5.55.23.52 (perhaps his cellphone), all other IPs resolve to Cyta Hellas.  Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me.   • On 1 June 2017, TU-nor adds the clarification in the infobox explaining how the 4th position changed to 2nd due to UEFA playoffs

Longterm edit-warring on AEK Athens F.C. (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) removing the identical note explaining AEK's position change after the UEFA playoffs, explained in detail in the archived SPI. Master was warned by Callanecc after the completion of the first SPI. New sock is the Cosmote Mobile 5.144.2xx... version as the socks in the archived SPI.   • I also added Vamian. Please see Vamian and new sock Antonis1199 edit AEK B.C. within 1 minute of each other. In the same edit, Vamian adds new unsourced BLP information in the same roster Antonis1199 had edit-warred to restore. Vamian also edits many of the articles of the master — sometimes sequentially and at the identical section: example 1, example 2. Meanwhile, Vamian has exactly the same warnings that the master has on his talkpage about adding unsourced content to articles, and from the same admin. Like the master, and every other sock, Vamian is completely unresponsive. By the way, if Vamian is confirmed as a sock, this SPI has to be renamed because Vamian is the oldest account.   •  Clerk endorsed. These users are backing each other up and re-creating the same articles. As was already stated, Vamian is the oldest account.
  • Marios2134454 and Antonis1199 are  Confirmed to each other.
  • Vamian is  Possible based on geolocation but there's a significant technical difference that makes me think they're more likely meat than sock.

As all the other Marios socks they are bent on adding unsourced information to AEK F.C.-related articles, especially the unsourced weights of the Greek players on the team roster.  Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me. The new sock Zodiac311 registered two days after the latest sock Antonis2127 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was indeffed. As all the other Marios socks they are bent on adding unsourced information to AEK F.C.-related articles, especially the unsourced weights of the Greek players on the team roster. These socks are so predictable that I largely copied and pasted segments from the last report, just changing the names and diff numbers.  Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me. This is a confirmed sock of Marios2134454 which I've already CU blocked. I noticed that this account edited multiple pages that were previously edited by another sockmaster (Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mikenew1953), however. Could a clerk briefly look into the two cases and see if they are behaviorally tied? If it isn't clear, don't spend too much time on it.

Then as soon as Ant 27 appears he starts adding unsourced weights to Greek players' stats at 2017–18 AEK B.C. season (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) as all the other socks while making a myriad of sequential edits.  Sounds like a duck quacking into a megaphone to me. A couple of hours after the latest sock Kenkima (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was blocked, this new sock starts editing the articles Kenkima was editing before, restoring Kenkima's edits, and, in general, following me around. After the latest sock spree, this brand new account starts editing in exactly the same way as the other socks. The clincher? Check his userpage under the section "Articles made by me". Johnq2 is using IPv4 addresses from a few different ranges but they locate to the same place as the IPv6 above and match the primary UA. Also, Johnq2 is doing some editing while logged out that suggests that he is  Likely to the master. There is a good deal of IP editing going on and he likely has a new IPv6 address block assignment as the ones for the above appear to have ceased at the beginning of the month.  Blocked and tagged.
