Kind request for second review :)
SysCAD
Thanks for looking over Draft:SysCAD - I have updated the reference to the original article on the company's page rather than LinkedIn. Any other advice on how to proceed with having this published would be greatly appreciated.
Where is the source here?
User:Theroadislong It seems you are the only one who can help to make Draft:Nyerere Ogbonna pass the next stage. This is taken too long with any sign of success. All I continue to receive is "may take up to four months" "and there are about 4324 or so articles waiting to be reviewed". I am damn sad about this. Can you just assist?Nwachinazo (talk) 12:03, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- There is no urgency? There are millions of other articles that require improvement in the meantime, why are you fixated on this one? Theroadislong (talk) 12:06, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- Indeed; Nwachinazo there is nothing that you can do to speed this up. You say it has "taken too long" but Wikipedia has no deadlines or fixed timeframes, so the only one it is taking too long for is you. Why is that? 331dot (talk) 12:11, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
I may not be able to do anything to speed it up. But I know that one good turn deserves another. I think Wikipedia should review its policies to accommodate automatic placement for articles that have met its requirements. I suspect that some tags are just there to pin down articles and I am not happy about it. This is the worst delay I have ever recieved since submitting articles on Wikipedia. Millions of articles every day, it is said. But how many articles are reviewed each day. A lot needs to be done, sirs.Nwachinazo (talk) 15:58, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- We are all volunteers here, I review around 30 articles every day, I have already told you multiple times that I am leaving the review of your draft to another editor, please stop posting here. Theroadislong (talk) 16:14, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Yessah, it is well. How could any editor/reviewer interfere in article you place a tag of decline on? From experience, I cannot remember any of my articles which are declined initially and accepted later that were reviewed by another editors. I believe only you can consider to do something better to Draft:Nyerere Ogbonna. Well, Well, Well. I HAVE FOLLOWED YOUR ADVICE ON THE NEED TO IMPROVE THE ARTICLE AND I AM DAMN SAD. IS IT NOT BETTER I RETRIEVE IT?Nwachinazo (talk) 16:46, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Nwachinazo, Do what you must, but I have outrightly rejected the article which is worse than a decline I feel Theroadislong has been mature, patient, understanding & polite with you but I on the other hand, do not have the patience Theroadislong has thus the outright reject I placed on the article. I also noticed from your conversations with them that you have been rude to them lol what a colossal error on your part to be rude to a master afc reviewer. Good luck. Celestina007 (talk) 23:19, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
I was never rude to anyone. Since you have outrightly rejected it and still mock me more and more, I find no reason you bringing up the case. It is better you reject or decline a draft on professional grounds than on the basis of "rudeness". Wikipedia policies and guidelines do not give you such privilege. Goodbye! Rejection is not the end of the World.Nwachinazo (talk) 00:41, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
Fiber Patch Placement
Hi Theoradislong, please let me know why you declined the article on FPP. I really cannot understand it. There is also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tailored_fiber_placement. Please let me know, where is the difference between the one and the other technology. And more than that: please let me know how to edit/support/help the publication. Thank you Antiquatuss (talk) 17:41, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
- The draft Draft:Fiber Patch Placement is largely unsourced and reads nothing like an encyclopedia article as for Tailored fiber placement that is also not very well sourced and needs attention, which is why the argument other poor quality articles exist is not a good one, you will need to find more in-depth independent sources, that is what articles are based on, not our own knowledge of a topic. Theroadislong (talk) 17:48, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick response. I didn't know, the TFP article is "poor" in your eyes. I try to have mine look more like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automated_fiber_placement. The point is, currently all text-material is original one. And of course I have a relation to the topic. I wouldn't bother you if it were different ,-> Pardon me to try further to get FPP published. I think, the additive technologies range should be complete.... Am I allowed to do modifictions or will my account be blocked somewhen? Antiquatuss (talk) 18:12, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello again, Theroadislong. Seems as if you were quite busy, so please accept my apologies for being so insistent on my FPP article. I have now taken out everything except the process description. Sources available online are also given. I hope I have done this correctly... Would you please have a look at the article again? Thank you so much!!! Antiquatuss (talk) 13:14, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Am I OK to Resubmit for Approval?
Hi, thanks so much for the time you spend helping us "Wikipedia newbies" learn the ropes. I had received some comments from you and another editor for my draft (Positive Grid) that I believe I've now addressed, but wanted to be sure you agree before I resubmit for approval. 3 quick items of note: 1) You had both explained that even if I'm not getting paid to submit a draft, if I'm an employee of any type, I need to declare a COI using the suggested template that was kindly provided to me (which I've now done on my user page).
2) I also saw a note from you about one particular sentence in my draft: "Comment: Positive Grid products are used by top artists around the globe= clearly not neutral tone Theroadislong (talk) 21:33, 21 January 2021 (UTC)" Thank you, I've modified that sentence, as well as a few other that may be deemed similar in tone.
3) What I'm still unclear about is the general reason for decline I saw: "This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed." I modified a few sentences, and have 19 references, all of which are independent published sources. Is there anything else you feel I should amend before I resubmit my article? I wasn't sure if this note mainly referred to a few sentences like the one in example #2 above, or if it was a more widespread comment?
Thanks again! Guitarfan21Guitarfan21 (talk) 15:25, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, you can re-submit, it still reads in a promotional manner though for example " offer integration with computers and mobile devices for a modern music-making experience" is pure marketing speak not a neutral encyclopdia's voice. Theroadislong (talk) 15:31, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks so much for your guidance; I've addressed your note above, as well as a few additional places to make the tone more neutral, and have re-submitted. Best, Guitarfan21Guitarfan21 (talk) 15:15, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
Review Draft:Jackson Groves
Hello,
thank you for reviewing Draft:Jackson Groves. I appreciate your contributions to WP. Due to the low sources, it got declined by you and after reading to your suggestions i have come up with the new references.
I request you to please review it again. Thank you. Mohirfan03 (talk) 00:05, 13 February 2021 (IST)
Jeff Greenwald
Hi,
My name is Kristina Van Prooyen and I am trying to create a page for Jeff H. Greenwald. I wanted to say thank you for reviewing the page and for your suggested edits. I wanted to let you know that I am definitely not a paid advocate attempting to write an article for this topic. It said I should reply but I honestly do not know how to do that, so I thought I would just send you a direct message via "talk"--I hope that is okay.
I was approached by a company called Wikipedia Writing and they wanted to help me edit the content for $900 but I felt like it was a bit odd. I am going to try to edit it myself and hope my changes get the page approved.
I had a question about personal interviews. I studied history in England and although "oral history" sources are allowed I understand they usually are more valid if backed up by a legitimate secondary source. Could, for instance, Jeff's comments about his experience at the Nick Bollittieri Tennis Academy be bolstered by Andrea Agassi's comments on the same subject in his autobiography? Or should I just steer clear of any personal interview content?
I am planning to add more secondary sources and also reduce content. I wanted to say also that four of the articles I mentioned are features in published newspapers either in print or online that solely focus on Jeff. How do I make it understood that these articles focus on him and are not just passing mentions?
I understand I should also try to make it seem more objective so it does not seem like an advertisement and I will try my best to fix that element. Do you have any other advice to give me? I would be genuinely grateful for your help! Again, thank you so much for reviewing the article I tried to write. I was surprised it got reviewed so quickly!
All best, Kristina
P.S. I hope I also did the "Talk" correctly! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kristina Van Prooyen (talk • contribs) 00:13, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) While I will let Theroadislong discuss the contents of your draft with you, Kristina Van Prooyen, you absolutely did the right thing in not paying any company to do any writing for you. Content can easily change; there is no guarantee that any content on an article will stay permanently. Any company who purports to be able to do so is attempting to scam you. In accordance with WP:SCAM, if you could forward the email (I assume it was by email) and report the incident to

, that'd be much appreciated. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 06:02, 17 February 2021 (UTC) Hi, I will report the company that approached me via email to try to persuade me to pay me for them editing/submitting my article. Thank you!- You are editing two versions of the draft it would be best if you abandoned User:Kristina Van Prooyen/sandbox/Jeff H. Greenwald and concentrated on Draft:Jeff H. Greenwald it still reads in a very promotional tone and is very poorly supported by sources, each and every substantive fact will require a citation to a reliable source. Theroadislong (talk) 14:16, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- So eight newspapers are not enough sources? Okay I will try to add even more sources. I will try to work on the Draft rather than the Sandbox. I am new to Wikipedia so am having trouble navigating. Kristina Van Prooyen (talk) 16:56, 17 February 2021 (UTC)Kristina Van Prooyen
- Also the draft contains content copied and pasted from [1] please remove ASAP or draft will be deleted Theroadislong (talk) 17:19, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Ibrahim EL Khoury article
Thank You so much Theroadislong, I will add what I can to Ibrahim el Khoury's article to make it look more like an article than a CV like you said, but for the sources, I have put everything available, if you go through all of them, it cites 99% of the information I entered, and for the other 1 percent, which is the metal decoration, I have directly included the picture of the president handing it to him and the certificate signed by the committee. Other than that, I think that this is really the maximum we can find as citations as all the articles are very long and include plenty of information. And Finally, after arranging the model of the article to make it look less like a cv, I think that it would be doing its role of explaining who Ibrahim El Khoury is. PS: I have pictures of the journal articles too that are very interesting in documenting everything. Once again Thank You so much for your time and help, Can you review it once I have arranged everything? :) Carlhatem (talk) 19:30, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Morgan Bullock
Hey, Theroadislong. I recently slightly expanded the article 'Morgan Bullock' and removed the notability tag, as I believe it's now been established that the article's subject meets notability criteria. I was hoping you could review the article and its new sources and see if you feel the same way. I've also placed a handful of citations from reliable, significant sources that I couldn't or haven't yet incorporated into the article on the Talk page. TheTechnician27 (Talk page) 01:42, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- That's great, but in the meantime it was nominated for deletion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Morgan Bullock, that will decide for us! Theroadislong (talk) 09:48, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
Urgent-
Hi!
Glad to see you are keeping busy.
Anyway, I wanted to get some information concerning a posting that appears not on Wikipedia but on another website called "Everybodywiki" or something similar. I have posted a link here (for reference only...I do not know what this site is or how they obtained my work in progress) : https://en.everybodywiki.com/Hongju_Lee_clan. I have no idea how a draft article appeared on this website. I did not post it. I was working on a draft (taking a while with citations and references) and then all of a sudden the draft information appeared on this website. Needless to say I was at a complete loss! I tried to contact them at "everybody" and thought they had deleted the article, yet, when I do a Google search I still see it online.
If somehow someone at Wikipedia was involved in this publishing I ask that someone contact me in order to have this article deleted for the following reasons: 1. I did not authorize publication. 2. It is a draft article only, requiring appropriate references/citations. 3. It creates confusion with an already published article in Wikipedia. If this article cannot be deleted by Wikipedia, I would like an explanation as to why it cannot be deleted. Finally, I would like to hear your thoughts on how this article went from being a draft on Wikipedia to being published on another website.
Appreciate your work and hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Hjlresearcher — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hjlresearcher16 (talk • contribs) 15:26, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

Help to improve draft
Hello
Thanks for reviewing my latest submission
Can you please tell me how can I improve it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Art&football (talk • contribs) 16:03, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
I need your opinion on this
If a draft article on a notable subject is created by an editor who has a possible COI or who is suspected of undisclosed paid editing has submitted an article for review is the perceived COI or UPE enough reason to decline the article? Celestina007 (talk) 19:04, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
- Yes I would think so because it's against policy not to declare any conflict so until they have responded, best to decline. Theroadislong (talk) 19:15, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

Request on 22:44:20, 23 February 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Rcr203
So, the wiki page submission has been rejected a couple times. The first time, it was due to sources. After adding sources, it was said to read like an advertisement. Which I'm puzzled by, because it's just details about the organization (which is a non profit, non commercial org, so it's not like it's advertising or trying to sell something). I asked a couple independent, unrelated people to edit it the last time to remove anything that sounded promotional versus informational, as well as add more citations, which they did and is why I resubmitted it.
I have contributed to some other pages in the past, and I read the guidelines multiple times, and looked at comparable examples, and I'm not seeing the exact problem, or how best to fix it.. (see something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object_Management_Group for example. I appreciate any feedback/guidance on what to do to amend the submission. Thank you./

Not a paid sumbission :)
Hiya- I am not compensated in any shape or form (directly or indirectly) for my edits. I have written this article independently, through my own online research. I noticed an attempt was already made earlier, so I ensured that the reasons for rejection weren't repeated- not having a neutral tone/referencing. First things first: your userpage has just given me a very strong desire to visit Gwennap, Chagford and Fotheringhay. I think that displaying those images during lockdown is entirely unreasonable: no matter how much I pour over Gifford, I can't actually see those places, and you are taunting me with them. So :P to you.
Anyway... your 'email this user' facility is disabled, so I've come here to ask whether you have any interest in adminnery. I've seen you around a lot in reviewing articles and drafts, and have formed the impression that you have the interests of the project at heart, and the level of understanding to use the tools properly. If you're interested in discussing this further, please reply here or by e-mail. If you're not interested, please feel free to revert or ignore this note. Cheers GirthSummit (blether) 20:45, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- I'm flattered that you think I am suitable material for adminship, I've been asked a number of times, but feel quite happy doing what I do and would probably find admin work rather stressful. I am also trying hard to cut down on my editing in general as it has been impacting real life activities. All good wishes and sorry about taunting you with my photographs! Theroadislong (talk) 21:01, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Theroadislong, fair enough - absolutely, keep doing what you enjoy. Your pictures are smashing, I really do want to get out and about, there's plenty to look at in York but I really need a change of scene now. GirthSummit (blether) 06:44, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Draft article review, possible AfDs
Thank you for reviewing the draft article for Dance Studies Association. Given the decision not to publish the article for lack of reliable source coverage, should the pages of the two predecessor organizations, Society of Dance History Scholars and the Congress on Research in Dance be nominated for deletion? These are the two organizations that merged to form Dance Studies Association. ABT021 (talk) 14:41, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- They are poorly sourced, I have tagged them for notability, thanks. Your draft Draft:Dance Studies Association has much better sources and with a little more editing for neutral tone could be accepeted. Theroadislong (talk) 16:03, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

I had a look at this criteria page for bands before beginning this article, it's a very helpful ressource. Actually this band Aiwa meets several criterias beginning with independant articles from important medias. It has been on many compilations over the world including World Music on Wrasse records 2004 and 2006 distributed worldwide. I would like to add those references too once my article is accepted. Pre-translation cleanup
Hello again! A few weeks ago, you tagged the PolyAnalyst article as being in need of cleanup. I am contacting you now because we are about to translate the article into five languages (Russian, French, German, Chinese, and Korean), and I first want to ensure that the article is clean so that any "dirt" is not multiplied by five. I have improved the article since you last saw it, but I don't feel comfortable removing the tag. Do you think you could give the article another looking-over and just delete any offensive material that might remain? I know that you don't have unlimited time for these things, but any asssistace that you could offer would be appriciated. Sam at Megaputer (talk) 15:31, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Comment: This is the English Wikipedia, I'm not sure we need so many Chinese translations of names? Theroadislong (talk) 18:05, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the comment. It's pretty standard to provide the romanization and Chinese characters for Chinese names in English language scholarly articles and reference works, at least upon first mention. This often provides the needed specificity for further research into the subject esp. in Chinese language sources. But I perhaps overdid it in a few cases, will check. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaoyoude (talk • contribs) 20:13, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
I think you make a good point from the standpoint of readability for the non-Chinese reader, esp in the cases where the Chinese name can be linked to a Wikipedia article that provides the necessary romanizations and Chinese characters. Hello you aren't giving me very clear feedback I have remove the sources that you have deemed illegitimate please could you re review and give me some sort of guidance on how I can get excepted — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dan Dearden (talk • contribs) 21:14, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- Please read WP:REFB for help with correctly formatting sources and also WP:MOS for layout help. Tone is totally inappropriate for an encyclopedia, which is why it is strongly suggested people don't write about themselves. Theroadislong (talk) 21:21, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- you have mentioned about people writing about themselves but I am not. I am writing about an athlete that red bull have just sponsored. The format is correct for an encyclopaedia I have read those link and I think the article is good and has mentioned with good sources too. Please can you give me actual feedback on how I can improve instead of just saying what is wrong — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dan Dearden (talk • contribs) 21:47, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- If you are not Dan Dearden then you need to request a user name change ASAP. If you have read WP:REFB and WP:MOS you have clearly not understood them, the draft looks nothing like an acceptable article. Theroadislong (talk) 22:00, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

Mark Mireles Inquiry
Hello Theroadislong, I am writing you to figure out how I can correct your issue. ” The reason left by Theroadislong was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia.”
As you can tell from my past submissions, I am very new to making a Wikiapedia page. I went really far, pulled it back, then added more, and finally came to just make it very streamlined. But I still seem to be missing the standard. Mark is a very decorated officer from the LAPD, he is also listed on Jean-Jacques Machado’s Wikipedia page as one of the 8 students of his next to Joe Rogan, Eddie Bravo and Chuck Norris. And is linked to his Jui Jitsu Academy on Jean's page.
Can you please help me navigate this to be up to standards while keeping Mark and his accomplishments?
I truly hope this finds you well.
- Your draft Draft:Mark Mireles was declined 4 times and then rejected, it will not be considered further, As you have been told on the draft talk page the draft is written in a promotional tone. what are you talking about when you say paid drafts — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arnold right (talk • contribs) 19:31, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi - I am hoping to get some specific advice on what is considered not neutral in the description and information given in the article submission. I followed similar live articles on other Fintech companies in this space and it seems to be comparable to those. Thanks!

35011 General Steam Navigation article
Hello, I am still learning how to produce articles on wiki, so may have made an error somewhere. I produced a draft article on 35011 General Steam Navigation, got a reply saying can you add more references etc., which I did, and then nothing much has happened. What do I need to add or change with this articel to get it published? Regards, Steve Srapley81 (talk) 16:14, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

You mentioned "blatant" advertising by the CEO as your reason for not approving my page. As far as I am aware there is not prohibition on a company managing its own page. It does need to be factual and neutral which I have tried to make it so. You may not like the fact that I am posting on my own company but I don't believe that is a reason to not approve the page. I have attempted to match the style and content of this page to others including Chime, Wealthfront etc. and to me at least it appears comparable. Could you please point me to where you feel this is not neutral enough and I will be happy to adjust as required. I would ask you to be a little less partisan in your comments.

Have a look
They probably just said fuck it & created the article straight to mainspace. I’m not sure what to do with that so I thought I’d bring it to your notice. Celestina007 (talk) 20:44, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Comment: You say "This statement is a first hand account from this articles author." ALL sources need to be published to be usable and please also note that we don't use external links in the body of the article, some of them may be suitable for conversion to references if they support any of the content. Theroadislong (talk) 14:43, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
The documentation you require is no longer available since it's more than 50 years ago. I can only offer the provenance of being the son and nephew of two of the owners. Please delete this on acceptable article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GNJusa (talk • contribs) 21:00, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi Theroadislong, thank you for the comments on Draft:e-flux! I went through and edited the sources, removing the links to their own website and replacing them with other sources. Would you mind taking a look at it now? Thank you! P.S. I love the photos of ceramics on your talk page :) Pizzarat222 (talk) 23:00, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
Resubmission of Draft:Rebecca Nengi Hampson
Hey, you declined my draft on 1st February 2021. I have since made changes. Removed all peacock terms, used proper citations. I visited over 16 Nigerian personality pages this past month and checked the kind of sources they used and I have used similar sources since those articles were accepted by Wikipedia
Also, you left a comment on my talk page which i have since replied to, as you instructed me to reply before editing my draft any further. I am not paid to edit any Wikipedia content and if guided accordingly I'll provide proof required.
Kindly requesting that you review my draft again. I've worked on correcting it for a month now and hope it meets Wikipedia standards.
- Best regards Justice Faith (talk) 08:46, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- For the record I have declined the submission & would proceed to outrightly rejecting the submission if it is submitted again without @Justice Faith disclosing their COI with the article’s subject. This has to be the third or fourth new editor trying to move this article to mainspace. Celestina007 (talk) 01:14, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Dear Celestina007 This comment and resubmission was made before you called me a liar. Like I said yesterday, go ahead and delete the draft. There's nothing to disclose. I'm aware you don't believe me and i've made peace with that. I just hope that with time another editor picks intrest in the subject and is allowed to contribute about it.
Thankyou Justice Faith (talk) 10:46, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Review: Draft Oxlade (singer)
Hello Theroadislong, a draft I wrote has been declined; firstly because it was not notable notjustyet and when I was able to prove it meets all guidelines. It was declined by the same editor and it was tagged COI. The draft Oxlade, meets all guidelines as followed; WP:GNG, WP:Band and also WP:Anybio, in addition to this. He’s notability wasn’t inherited because of his affiliation with Davido or Drake for sharing his breakthrough song “Away”.
I read above the review section on your talk page, seeing another editor having similar issues because of the same editor. I will gladly declare COI because I’m interested in the subject and not because I have any financial stake in promoting a topic. The draft clearly is written in WP:NPOV, with no promotional information or hype, but everything is verified from a reliable source. I checked the editor contributions and I found your page, I need your help in verifying this claims and also reviewing the draft. Like I said above, I will declare COI in WP:Goodfaith to please the editor.--JudeJnr (talk) 07:52, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- You have re-submitted without any improvement, that is just disruptive, you haven't "proved" the topic is notable, please suggest which part of WP:NMUSICIAN they pass, sources need to be in-depth not mere listings or passing mentions. Theroadislong (talk) 10:18, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- JudeJnr It's not a conflict of interest to merely be interested in a topic. If you have some sort of association with the topic, then it is a conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 10:30, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
- Theroadislong, 8 and 10 of wp:NMUSICIAN, performed at ART X Lagos [2] and nominated at The Headies [3]. In addition to this, nominations are mere listings but the source is not mere listings.--JudeJnr (talk) 10:49, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
