Draft:Chief_Pat

Hi Theroadislong! Thanks for the feedback on the Draft:Chief_Pat page.

You noted that you had denied approval because YouTube was referenced for 7 of the 15 sources, however a majority of the YouTube citations were related to channel statistics/milestones that were rather obvious and perhaps not needing sourcing (1, 2, 5, and 6). Would it be better to remove those 4 references?

Otherwise, are the 8 other sources sufficient? There are other snippets that could be added with more colorful commentary, i.e. "Few individuals around the world are as synonymous within the mobile gaming scene as Chief Pat is" from https://www.invenglobal.com/articles/8269/igec-panel-highlight-mobile-esports-the-worlds-largest-niche-community, but I opted to keep things more clear-cut. I'd love to hear your feedback.

Here are some articles I'm using as reference for either gaming YouTubers, or esports organization founders/CEOs: Andy Dinh, OMGitsfirefoxx, Hafu_(video_game_player), Trump_(video_game_player)

Dave Taranto

On 14th December I let the community know that I am writing an article on a producer, radio announcer and promoter David Taranto. It was rejected on the grounds that it wasn't relevant enough.

I believe I didn't provide enough information about the subject, or gave misleading info on my intentions, which might have made it appear that the article might be a bit amateurish. I hope I didn't mislead. I must stress that an article on David Taranto would provide crucial historical information on the Australian comedy industry.

I should explain. In the Melbourne comedy industry in the 1990s, David - Dave - Taranto showcased many Australian comedians who became international acts such as The Doug Anthony Allstars and Lano and Woodley, who received the Edinburgh Fringe's Perrier Award. The BBC subsequently produced a TV series starring Lano and Woodley. He promoted and broadcast many other successful comedy acts in the 1990s. Dave's untimely death in 1999 put an end to his short career. But a number of producers and myself feel that that specific era in Australian comedy is missing from the industry's history. I would like to create an article to provide the public with details of his career and activities. There are a number of other colleagues who will contribute information and edit facts.

To help you get a clearer picture, I am a performer, comedy writer, dramatic actor and playwright. In constructing a Wikipedia article I am committed to providing a professional product.

I have provided information taken from Melbourne newspaper The Age' Bold text for your information.

https://Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the ).www.theage.com.au/entertainment/tv-and-radio/tv-and-radio-comedys-new-centre-stage-20021230-gduzxw.html

I hope this allays any concerns you have regarding the importance of the article. I will proceed very slowly in slowly gathering verifiable facts and consult with other professionals amongst the comedy contributors. If you want further information about me, I have an IMDb page. There are also a number of articles about me online.

Thank you for your feedback, Theroadislong. Much appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Frederick - Fred - Rowan.

Michael T Pugh Wikipedia Page

Dear Theroadislong - my apologies to you if it appears as though i have a conflict of interest. Michael T. Pugh is the CEO of Carver Federal Savings Bank and I am his assistant. I have no interest in his wikipedia page other than to make edits. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NatalieRoss (talkcontribs) 16:21, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that you are his assistant means that you have a very clear conflict of interest! You are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Theroadislong (talk) 16:28, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Union & Peace Page Declined

Hello, I would like to know what needs to be done to the Union & Peace page for it to be approved to be published. Its a translation of a page that is already published in the spanish version of wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Santiagocamara (talkcontribs) 18:46, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Zoltan Torey article

Hello Theroadislong Can you please help me to re-direct the article on "Zoltan Torey" and delete "Zoltan Troey"? The title is incorrect as it is spelt as "Troey". My apologies for this stupid omission. Your help will be much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Da veder (talkcontribs) 23:45, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just added a few more links that should demonstrate Sanghamitra's notability, is the correct process to add them to the previous article as I did?

Thank you for your guidance here, not the most straightforward interface and appreciate the feedback — Preceding unsigned comment added by Giuseppe Rodio (talkcontribs) 16:19, 29 February 2020 (UTC) D v 22:40, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you sincerely for your kind help, Theroadislong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Da veder (talkcontribs) 22:41, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Got it, but we come back to the original query here...as in, what sources do you actually consider for notability? We do have in depth coverage from multiple independent sources. I pasted a few in the amendment, can post more and we can literally continue for days, as there is countless coverage on Sanghamitra in India. This being the the point I raised initially, does the brand need to be famous internationally to be covered by Wiki? As in this case yes, there is limited coverage/ mentions around the brand itself abroad, being limited the activity carried out so far outside India. However, Literally millions of people know Sanghamitra Phukan and her work in the north east of india. Is the geographical area somehow affecting the post?

Also, as the internet does not have the same spread there as it does in other parts of the world, would be feasible to attach actual images of local newspapers/ magazines? we actually have coverage across the whole southeast asia so we could show that evidence too. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Giuseppe Rodio (talkcontribs) 20:08, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The draft reads like blatant advertising, and you clearly have a conflict of interest. You can get other editors opinions at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk. Theroadislong (talk) 20:21, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

So being this the first ever post I do on Wiki I am not sure about the correct layout to be used. It would be greatly appreciated to receive feedback on this side. As per what I wrote, I tried to research on what other brands pages look like, so to draft a similar snapshot with key information. This below is one of the examples I used as reference:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brunello_Cucinelli

As you can see the edit is very similar to the one I chose, hence at this point I don't understand anymore...Is brunello cucinelli's page advertisement? As in, are brands paying to be advertised on Wikipedia? Purpose of our submission is simply to educate people about Sanghamitra, which I believe would be the purpose of any other post here...knowledge. Given all the facts we demonstrated, not sure how to proceed with it. Shall we attach more evidence/ can we attach also images? Could you please advise, thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Giuseppe Rodio (talkcontribs) 21:16, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

FH Davis

Hi. You moved User talk:FH Davis to Draft talk:Francis Harley Davis (along with moving User:FH Davis to Draft:Francis Harley Davis). The talk page, though, has messages that are meant for the user, FH Davis, not the article talk page, including the username policy problem. I started to manually cut/paste the sections back, but maybe it's better to just reverse the talk page move? Thanks. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 21:58, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WP: NMUSICIAN

Greetings Theroadislong! I am curious about your comment in regards to my Draft:Wise Blood (Musician). The first criteria for notable musician is "Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself.". In my article I have cited multiple, "non-trivial" interviews and profiles in The New York Times, The BBC, The Guardian, MTV, Gothamist, FACT magazine, and Pitchfork among others. I don't claim to have presented the perfect article and do not mind continuing to revise it but am having trouble understanding how this particular criticism is valid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mapmaker88 (talkcontribs) 13:34, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mapmaker88 Hello my comment "Would need to pass WP:NMUSICIAN" wasn't a criticism it was just a statement, it appears from looking at the sources that he could indeed pass the threshold. You could enquire at the decliners talk page as to their reasoning. Good luck. Theroadislong (talk) 13:54, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Theroadislong I do appreciate any feedback and thank you for helping me along as I try to complete my first article. Any future notes or comments would be much appreciated as I continue to get a hang of this!

ASB GlassFloor draft

Hi Theroadislong,

Just a quick question, Is the draft now ready to be resubmitted again? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:ASB_GlassFloor

Or do you think there still needs to be more changes made before resubmitting?

Many thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JBurger9 (talkcontribs) 07:48, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

JBurger9 It still reads just like an advert for the company and has been declined for that reason. The awards do not appear to be notable so there is nothing to suggest that your company passes WP:NCORP. Theroadislong (talk) 11:10, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Theroadislong, in my eyes the company is notable since ASB is the only company to produce a multifunctional glass sport flooring system in the world, but we can not say that otherwise we are deemed too advertising. ASB-floors are able to provide completely new training systems for athletes and advertising opportunities for sponsors on the court itself. We have over 30 individual independent articles throughout the article cross referencing with what we have been saying. Furthermore, there is even a Wikipedia entrance mentioning our glass floors, since ASB are the only sports courts made from glass able to switch sports within seconds is notable. I have removed most of the text because it deemed as advertisement, I have also found wikipedia articles to cross-reference with the awards to make them notable.

Also I am trying to write this article is first and foremost about the two flooring systems and not about the company itself. ASB GlassFloor is not only the companies name but also simply the umbrella term for the flooring system using LED lights as well as glass flooring.

JBurger9 (talk) 14:21, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

JBurger9 None of that makes your company notable in Wikipedia terms I'm afraid, seeWP:CORP for details of what is required. Theroadislong (talk) 14:25, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

/* Help with Draft Rejecting and locked Draft:Antonios_Karatzis */

Can you help me with the rejection? When an autobiography rejected we cant do nothing? This restriction for how long keep locked the draft? — Preceding unsigned comment added by G antonakakis (talkcontribs) 11:01, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your autobiographical draft Draft:Antonios Karatzis, was rejected as being contrary to the purposes of Wikipedia, this is not a venue for promoting yourself, there are plenty of social media outlets for that, such as Linked In and Facebook. Theroadislong (talk) 11:07, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft: Black Hen Atriana

Good day! This is in regards to my Draft: Black Hen Atriana (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Black_Hen_Atriana). As per your comment, you mentioned that "a number of these references do not even mention the subject". This is the same hen from Adria now Atri and the same hen that was mentioned by Pliny and Aristotle. Please review. Thank you.Piero.hatria (talk) 14:58, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you need to make it clearer that they are called different names then? Theroadislong (talk) 15:30, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Theroadislong: How come I did not receive any notification that you replied to my talk on March 3? I guess because you didn't ping me or something. Anyway, thank you for the feedback. Piero.hatria (talk) 15:23, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You edited my submission https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Openpath_Security,_Inc.#Openpath_Security%2C_Inc. and left a comment with "This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments, a violation of Wikipedia's terms of use. It may require clean-up to comply with Wikipedia's content policies." I can promise you that I am not paid (would be nice) and am doing this on my own as someone in the industry trying to bring a level of professionalism to the industry. As much as I appreciate you looking out for the integrity of Wikipedia and I applaud you for it, I would appreciate it if you would delete the message as in this case, it is not true. I resubmitted the content based on feedback given to me by Sulfurboy. This is the first of what I hope to be many additions to the community for the industry I serve. Thank you for your help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BethesdaLee (talkcontribs) 17:33, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback left on a page I submitted

Hello. I recently submitted edits to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Openpath_Security,_Inc.#Openpath_Security%2C_Inc. which I wrote and where you added "This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments, a violation of Wikipedia's terms of use. It may require clean-up to comply with Wikipedia's content policies." I can assure you that I am not paid. I am an industry vet trying to bring a level of professionalism to the industry and one way is through them being properly covered online. Wikipedia is a great resource for the industry. Most do not so I am filling in the gaps, on my own, unpaid. This was the first of what I hope to be many submissions. I appreciate your dedication and effort within the Wikipedia community and hope you will reconsider your note and let people know that you can now confirm that this is not true as we've "talked." Thank you very much BethesdaLee (talk) 17:39, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

References added

re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Althea_Vega I get imdb is not a reliable source, but a lot of actors wiki pages use it. anyway I've also added some news references and citations

That's correct but it doesn't help your draft establish notability and neither does YouTube I'm afraid. Theroadislong (talk) 08:52, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 15:56:42, 5 March 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Dussault

Thank you for looking at the article.

I would like to know what kind of references we are missing because, looking at analogous articles, I see analogous--often weaker--sets of references. For example, if I look at the List of African studies journals, I see that they almost all have a weaker set of references, almost never any independent references. The same goes for other disciplines, such as the article on Mind (journal), one of the most important journals in analytic philosophy.

The issue is that a website like WRSP is a reference website in a niche field. WRSP is important to that field, as can be gleaned from the list of contributors who have many publications outside of WRSP and affiliations with important universities. But there's no reason for sources to speak about it directly because it's just a reference work used mostly by scholars and students. Nova Religio operates in the same field as WRSP and it is discussed alongside WRSP in the first reference I used ("Nova Religio and the World Religions and Spirituality Project". University of California Press. Retrieved 8 July 2019.) It's not clear why Mind, Nova Religio, and various other journals and sources I look up were accepted, but not WRSP.

Could you please clarify what else needs to be done to get the article published?

Question about rejection

Hello Theroadislong,

I have seen your rejection of Draft:Lightning Systems, Inc.

Could you please explain clearly why that article was rejected, when similar articles regarding companies in the same industry were accepted?

Examples:

Proterra,_Inc.

Motiv Power Systems

Nikola Motor Company

GreenPower Motor Company

BYD Company

Arrival (company)

Rivian

VIA Motors

Lion Electric Company — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foxcorner (talkcontribs) 17:53, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft was a blatant advert with only the company website as a source, please also read other crap exists. Theroadislong (talk) 18:02, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Can you make some recommendations for improving it? I have access to many press articles to support the history of the company, but I wasn't sure whether press articles are acceptable references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foxcorner (talkcontribs) 18:21, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Independent press articles are exactly what Wikipedia requires, we have no interest at all in what the company says about itself, only what reliable sources have reported. Please be sure to disclose any conflict of interest you may have too. Theroadislong (talk) 19:06, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the clarification. I believe I already disclosed my employment on my profile page; is this sufficient in that regard? —Preceding undated comment added 19:21, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NARTIST.

Thank you Theroadislong, I appreciate that input.

How are grey areas managed? Having looked at dozens of artist wiki pages it seems to me that many of them don't meet these criteria but still get published.

David certainly meets 3 & 4, and arguably 2, but 1 feels very vague to me - lots of artists (and collectors) are inspired by David but aren't "citing" him in any formal way.

   1) The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors.
   2) The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique.
   3) The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews.
   4) The person's work (or works) has: (a) become a significant monument, (b) been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) won significant critical attention, or (d) been represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums.

Annabel Abbs article

Hello Theroadislong, I'm sorry to bring a comparatively trivial matter to your attention, but note that in January of this year you observed the deletion of a lot of sourced information from the Annabel Abbs article and noted the incorrect edit summary a previous user had invoked to justify said deletion. Since that time, a new user (who only edits this article and that of Lucia Joyce, the latter containing critical information on Abbs's book also), Hungrypanther, has been repeatedly deleting the same sourced information, and using the same histrionic incorrect edit summaries to cloak their actions. It would appear this user is the same as Bagginsludomax and several IP addresses that

The talk page more-or-less outlines the way in which Abbs's team (one IP user's message stating "I have been tasked with maintaining the page in a way Annabel is happy with") are attempting to vandalise the article to remove any criticism, from respected published sources no less, which sits ill with me as it's not how Wikipedia is supposed to work. Any previous attempts I've made to converse with this/ these editor(s) have yielded no result; would it be possible for you to try and make clear to them that they have no authority upon which to unilaterally alter the article to their taste by removing sourced information? I understand you no doubt have more interesting/ important things to be doing on-Wiki (and off!) but the nature of these edits and the manner in which the purpose of Wikipedia is being twisted in this case is growing increasingly distasteful and I fear that as an IP user I lack any appearance of authority with which to impress upon them the error of their ways. Many thanks- sorry again for this, but you're the only user that appears to have interacted with this situation previously. 78.144.66.245 (talk) 14:42, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll keep a look out but it looks like ThatMontrealIP has made some improvements. Theroadislong (talk) 17:00, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking the time to look into this; the current state of the article looks good, but I fear it won't be long before the same old thing happens- just knowing that the article is on others' radar and it can't be manipulated for vanity purposes against Wikipedia policy is very helpful. Thanks again! 78.144.66.245 (talk) 18:24, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

About reliable sources

Hi, Theroadislong! I've been working on an article about an artist I'm interested in for a while: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Giuseppe_Cristiano I've done my best to find the sources but I keep getting warned about reliability. I've used Google Books for most of the writing references, official blogs, and news coverage about said person. Would you like to tell me how can I improve it until I can get it finally ready to submit for review? Thank you very much in advance, and thank you for your work. Mgab05 (talk) 19:53, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have used his own books and blogs, Tumblr etc as sources none of these help towards establishing notability Wikipedia requires there to be in-depth coverage in independent sources, not connected to to the artist. Theroadislong (talk) 19:58, 8 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Theroadislong, I hope you don't mind me bringing this situation to your attention as you're one of the few users I've encountered that is proactive with regard to such things and I'm not particularly familiar with procedures etc; the article on Cléo de Mérode has been subject to repeated edits from Velvet-twenties incorporating original research and synthesis per guidelines, which I have reverted with a lengthy explanation on the talk page as well as clear edit summaries, in response to which he/ she has now resorted to reverting my restoration of the article with racist comments (however inaccurate in my own case): https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Cl%C3%A9o_de_M%C3%A9rode&type=revision&diff=944809992&oldid=944729341 I don't think this is acceptable behaviour on Wikipedia, nor are personal attacks along the lines of "retard"- https://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Cl%C3%A9o_de_M%C3%A9rode&type=revision&diff=944716542&oldid=944715927 I feel certain that such behaviour warrants disciplinary measures of some sort, but I'm not sure what.

The fact is that Velvet-twenties is particularly invested in identifying Cléo de Mérode's father as Theodor Christomannos (as is allegedly stated in an apparently quite obscure Italian book by journalist Silvano Faggioni, for which Velvet-twenties consistently refuses to provide a specific citation as requested). The only reason this is contentious at all is that previous versions of the article confidently stated her father to be the painter Carl von Merode, with sources given, and it doesn't seem sufficient to me to claim that a published source corroborates this new identification but not to cite it specifically, particularly in light of an academic book on Cléo de Merode published the same year, going in-depth into her life, that makes no such identification. Any advice or intervention on this matter would be greatly appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.66.245 (talk) 12:09, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like my colleague User:ThatMontrealIP has taken care of this in my absence, I was just climbing Sugar Loaf, Monmouthshire in Wales! Theroadislong (talk) 14:25, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Day-Age Creationism Article

Hey -- You reverted the edits that I made to the article on day age creationism. I'm unsure as to why. Currently, the article states that Robert Pennock is a "day-age creationist". But Pennock is not a Creationist of any sort; in fact, Pennock has been an outspoken critic of all forms of Creationism (old Earth, day age, intelligent design, etc). The book that the article on day age creationism currently cites is, itself, a critique of Creationism. So, the article should either indicate that Pennock is someone who has written about Creationism even though he is not a Creationist or the article should describe the views of a different author. Either way, the article should be edited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:803:8200:7930:F4C5:1F8C:DCEB:D63 (talk) 23:02, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Theroadislong

I am writing Draft:The Red Oaks School and you commented "Just a blatant advert for the school." I would like to know how I can improve my article as it was not my intent for it to look and sound like an advertisement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by C13pyles (talkcontribs) 12:30, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The entire article is an advert for the school I am guessing you have a connection, which you need to declare. Sentences like these are totally unacceptable, marketing... "the teachers are always there to help you improve and thrive in an educational environment.", "two internationally acknowledged educational programs", "The Red Oaks School brings many great experiences to their students", " students in 7th and 8th grade will have the great opportunity of being part of a delegation of a UN". Theroadislong (talk) 12:43, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New User Here- Quick Fix?

I’m a new user- I just signed up for a women’s “edit-a-thon” as an assignment. If I return to this draft, I could probably find most of the information taken from Lipton’s own website ON OTHER SITES. Unfortunately, the other sites seem to blatantly copy+paste said info... I didn’t have the time to comb through editing rules before rushing to the assignment.

I will not even attempt to publish a draft while violating such a big rule, but there is not really that much more information about Lipton online. Should I gather what I can without using her website, and hope for the best (albeit “stubby”) article? Unless it’s preferable to submit a stub article, perhaps Lipton just doesn’t meet the criteria for a Wikipedia page.

Thanks in advance. JingyJing0987 (talk) 15:33, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia only publishes articles for topics that have received significant coverage in reliable sources if there is no such coverage then we don't have an article. Theroadislong (talk) 15:36, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Starzoner I wonder if you still need to use the WP:AFC process now? Great work with the stubs. Theroadislong (talk) 18:46, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'm gonna start moving the rest instead of AFC. Starzoner (talk) 19:48, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have zero reliable independent sources, so no chance of the draft being accepted I'm afraid. Theroadislong (talk) 17:28, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft has two primary sources only, Wikipedia requires there to be multiple independent reliable sources to establish notability. Theroadislong (talk) 20:23, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft was declined, not taken down? The draft is about the word "Mbamalu" Wikipedia is not a dictionary and your single source does not confirm the content so it was declined. Theroadislong (talk) 19:06, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Moving Lugar de Baixo page

Thank you for publishing the Lugar de Baixo page:

Would it be possible to rename/move it to:

This is how the place is known locally and road sign when entering the village (Sítio) confirms it:

Draft:Jubaili Bros

Hi Theroadislong, Thank you for reviewing my first article. I made changes as instructed from your side. Comment: "provider of Power Solutions" is pure marketing speak. Hope it meets the approval criteria now.

Thank you for your time. Please feel free to edit the article, in case required. Sheeraz.jb (talk) 08:38, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It fails WP:NCOMPANY, it requires significant coverage in multiple independent reliable secondary sources. Interviews and press releases are not independent or reliable references. Lacks WP:CORPDEPTH. You are a paid employee of the company, I suggest you leave it to someone unconnected to write the article, which they will once it becomes notable. Theroadislong (talk) 09:44, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Theroadislon, Thank you for your prompt response. Will you be able to assist in writing this article or can you refer a suitable source? Please advise. Thanking in anticipation.Sheeraz.jb (talk) 12:45, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The company does not appear to be notable, so is not eligible for an article. Theroadislong (talk) 13:23, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Ride Her Cup

Good afternoon my friend..

I'm new to all this..

You've just declined my submission.. What is it i need to do, to get the article approved.?

Cheers

Welshtucker11 Your draft article Draft:Ride Her Cup has no sources, Wikipedia only has articles about notable topics that have been reported on in depth by multiple, independent, reliable sources. Theroadislong (talk) 16:27, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah Morgan Bryan Piatt page/thanks for your comments and tips!

Hi Theroadislong, I am new here and (obviously!) still learning the ropes. I'm sorry I don't yet understand all the editing protocols. I'm doing my best with the learning curve. I see some editors' comments refer to new contributors like me as a "newbie." I know you and others are professional editors on this site, and I am not, so it's unlikely I will "get" the deep rules as you do right away, and my guess is that it takes a while to do that as you and others have done successfully through extensive experience. I apologize if I'm getting "Talk" wrong too; I wanted to let you know that I've made the changes to the adjectives you flagged as non-neutral. Given the problems you flagged with the lead, it might be best just to restore the prior version. I was not able to do that, although I looked back at the history to try. Just wanted to let you know I will take one more crack at the lead today, trying to address the problems you identified, but I'm not sure I will grasp them all. I'll try. At that point I am unlikely to contribute again. So if you just want to revert it all, I leave that to you. Stay well! — Preceding unsigned comment added by SMBPiatt2020 (talkcontribs) 16:49, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cello Electronics

Hi

Thanks for your help with the above article review.

Just to clarify this is not my company. It is a company I am associated with as they are a customer and have been for many years. I genuinely feel they would be a worthy addition to Wikipedia, so it is disappointing it has been twice rejected. Anyway, I will review again and resubmit.

Thanks

Ian — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ianpalmer (talkcontribs) 11:55, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have no interest in helping you any further, as you are being paid. If the company is genuinely notable, someone unconnected with the business will create an article at some point. Theroadislong (talk) 12:11, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Kristen Idrettskontakt

Hello Theroadislong. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kristen Idrettskontakt, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: possibly significant, take it to WP:AFD instead. Thank you. SoWhy 13:34, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pw55823 Your topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia so it has been rejected, it has zero reliable sources, Wikipedia cannot reference itself. Theroadislong (talk) 17:35, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DP Solutions Article

Hello, I added the DP Solutions wiki page because they are one of the most prominent IT companies in their region and have become an authority for many other sites and users with some of their educational resources. I added links to new coverage they've had and many others. They have more as well which I will continue adding. Thank you, and no, I do not work for the company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SMR518 (talkcontribs) 18:02, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
