Further improvements
Hello Theroadislong... I'd like to work with you to improve SOCO International's Wiki page, get the facts out there and legitimize the page/remove the tags. I will not directly edit the page again since I am a COI editor and do have a 'close connection' with the subject. Nevertheless, I would like to help present the facts about SOCO's activities while adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines. In order to remove the promotional content I suggest removing the following three sentences, but please let me know what needs to happen to further improve the page and I would be happy to assist: -- "In 2016 it was reported that SOCO had indicated that with low cost production, no debt and its disciplined approach to capital allocation, the company was in a good position to weather a prolonged industry downturn." --"Looking ahead, the company said it plans to produce 10,000 to 11,500 barrels of oil equivalent a day in 2016 This doesn't included potentially higher output scenarios from its TGT field in Vietnam." --"The start of production was achieved more than a month ahead of schedule, SOCO said, and the H5 wellhead platform development was completed with zero lost time accidents." I look forward to hearing from you, SOCOrep — Preceding unsigned comment added by SOCOrep (talk • contribs) — SOCOrep (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

Decline reason - "content is already included in his article Mohanlal": Yes, it was meant to be removed after Mohanlal discography becomes a stand-alone list. Please consider a re-review.

'This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability'.
As my draft submission says, I was the CASWO. I am filling in the missing information between my predecessor and my successor . I am open to suggestions on how I can increase or prove my 'notability'. I would have thought my notability can be proved by my award of the MBE, and I have referenced that?

Do you know how scammy the page would look if she posted hundreds of articles you can see for the subject when you do a Google or Baidu search?? Come on. Be sensible.

popular choreographer mentioned in other news sites
Sir, Sajna Najam is a popular choreographer at South India in Kerala. Information of a good choreographer like this deserves to be included in this encyclopedia and is an important part of Malayalam cinema industry. In Wikipedia pages for Movies section the name of Choreographer has no space for inputting. That's why it seems to be missing. If else it would have been added. And she is similar to another popular choreographer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kala_(choreographer)
Please include this information about Sajna Najam and pls avoid any situation of deleting it from data base as many people will surely look for these details.
Detailed information about it has been mentioned at many sites as follows.

As a contributor to Wikipedia, I feel that the article meets all the requirements of a Wikipedia article particularly neutrality and notability.
There are no opinions or promotional statements in the article. On the contrary, it provides a holistic picture of an organisation in the Power electronic sector in India. I have revised the article once again.
Kindly advise ways in which I can improve this article, as I have feel the article is objective and only enlightens a reader of an Indian organisation in the power quality space.

Deletion of Claremont Rug Company page
Hello, When updating the Bakshaish, Caucasian, Sultanabad pages I added in information for Claremont Rug Company's website's Rug Type Guide pages which provides scholarly information on the origin, colors, design, and rich history of these Persian Rugs. My intention was not to advertise or promote Claremont Rug Company but to give reference and complimentary imagery to where the information came from. Our page has now been deleted and I request that it please be restored and in the future, I will not add written content to corresponding pages from our website. My intention was to provide more educational information about these types of rugs to enhance the user experience when searching through Wikipedia for these rug types and then reference the source not to promote our website. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rug Connoisseur (talk • contribs) 01:09, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- I am not an Admin so cannot restore anything. The page was deleted as advertising and it seems like you are still trying to advertise your company here [1] I can't help you Theroadislong (talk) 07:05, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Claremont Rug Company editing
Since they're reaching out to you... The number of WP:SPA accounts involved, and the different editing patterns from them suggest paid editing. I'm guessing it's the typical situation where the employees of Claremont Rug Company have become frustrated with their progress in promoting their company on Wikipedia, and have hired others to help. At some point, they hired Garytobin (talk · contribs) [2]. Too bad none of the accounts have simply declared their conflict of interest and tried to work openly with others.
How much have you looked into the situation? Is what I'm seeing similar to your perspective? --Ronz (talk) 16:15, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- Haven't really investigated though User:Ritka Avikara, User:Antiquerugexpert and User:INDIAN REVERTER2 seem to be connected too. Theroadislong (talk) 16:26, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks.
- Antiquerugexpert is a part of the nazmiyalantiquerugs.com spamming. I'm not sure if it's related other than the nazmiyalantiquerugs.com spamming makes a (bad) example for others (azerbaijanrugs.com, claremontrug.com, catwalkrugs.com.au) to follow.
- Ritka Avikara, INDIAN REVERTER, INDIAN REVERTER2 are pretty obvious socks. --Ronz (talk) 16:44, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Thankyou
for the barnstar! My first one - anyways, having an article ok'ed has made me rather ridiculously pleased so thought I would share some of it about by saying an official thankyou :) Curdle (talk) 12:04, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
As you were involved in Draft:John Rutland, can you please compare and if needed tag appropriately John Rutland? I do not have the time, nor the knowledge on the subject. A quick glance shows enough sourcing, but I do not see major differences with the draft that was repeatedly declined. Please take a look at it, and tag if needed. Thanks. -- Alexf(talk) 10:03, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
COI
Hi, I have just updated the page for National Association of Cider Makers as I update their website and spotted some out of date references on the Wikipedia page. If that represents a conflict of interest, please let me know and how I could otherwise ensure that the page is correct? thanks CiderUK (talk) 11:34, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
- When you have a conflict of interest it's advisable to suggest the changes on the talk page of the relevant article, rather than making the changes yourself. Theroadislong (talk) 11:49, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
JT Global
Hi Theroadislong. I hope all is well. My name is Julien Morel and I support JT Global with its communications (I work for a PR agency in Jersey, Channel Islands). I'm new to updating Wikipedia so I need a bit of hand-holding. I've had a quick live chat with Wikipedia who have been really helpful - so I've now declared an interest and posted a short message on the JT Global talk page. It's late on Friday here in Jersey so I'm going to rest for the weekend and tackle this on Monday but I'd really appreciate some guidance on getting these update approved. I guess I need fewer references from the JT Global website?
- so you will need to find independent sources which cover the company in depth. Theroadislong (talk) 17:13, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
JT Global
Thanks Theroadislong. I'll go through my entry and use as many independent sources as I can. Can I update my existing revision (that you took down) or do I have to start afresh? And it is ok to use some references from the JT Global site? Some facts will only be found there.
- You will need to make suggestions on the talk page for each edit you want to make, paid editing is VERY seriously discouraged here. Theroadislong (talk) 17:46, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
Draft:Apollo brown
Hi, Just saw you comment. I have no other point of reference for some of these facts. I understand why Youtube is questionable but I don't see why dicogs and allmusic are not reliable enough sources for a known music release.
Thanks for the pointers.Gstring2010 (talk) 21:47, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
- To establish notability you need multiple in-depth coverage of the subject not just listings and mentions. Theroadislong (talk) 22:16, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
Susan Tedeschi and David Lemieux page additions
Hi,
This is my first time using Wiki as an editor, so please bear with me. These interviews, are similar to many other links to articles about the artists (or archivist in David's case). For people interested in their work, what better source than a personal interview with the source topic?
There is a link on Susan's page, directly before the one I added: Interview with Tedeschi in Performing Musician magazine
I'm not sure I understand the difference.

Hi. I'd like a 2nd opinion as my opinion of this is that it is deletable. It was moved from drafts by creator, is sourced to the subject's web pages and looks too promo for my tastes. Value your judgment. Thanks Dlohcierekim (talk) 12:45, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- Looks like pure advertising to me! I have tagged it for deletion. Theroadislong (talk) 13:25, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
draft to article spam
Is there a way to efficiently monitor for Draft moves like that one? My brute force attack on the problem is exhausting.Dlohcierekim (talk) 14:34, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- Good question! I don't know the answer. Theroadislong (talk) 14:36, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- Ha! Requiring confirmed status to article creation solved some problems but shifted others. Dlohcierekim (talk) 14:46, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
Removal of templates
Thanks for the feedback. Once again, I'd appreciate some guidance as, as you know, I am relatively new to Wikipedia. I am now updating the JT Global entry, writing impartially only using external references and citations. My updates are now being approved, for which I'm grateful - not least because it validates the approach I'm taking. How and when will the maintenance templates be removed, please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Julienmorel (talk • contribs) 10:14, 8 October 2017 (UTC) Julienmorel (talk) 10:16, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
Hello
Hi
I have edited the draft of my article on which you last left a review. Can you please help review it for me again? Priyanka Priyanka2887 (talk) 04:04, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- Writing about the company you work for is probably the most difficult task on Wikipedia. I strongly advise you not to.Your draft is supported by content written by the owner of the company. Wikipedia has essentially no interest in anything that a subject says or wants to say about itself: it is only interested in what people who have no connection with the subject have published about it, in reliable places.
